Launched in 2011 and categorised as a 'Woods' fragrance. For me this perfume is pure seduction. It has a subtle, almost innocent opening but beware as it starts to weave its magic around you!
If I had to put a soundtrack to this fragrance, then it would be "Propuesta Indecente" by Romero Santos (check out the music clip and see if I'm right!)

Pardon is a masterpiece. It’s my desert island fragrance. The one I would choose if I had to choose only one. Gualtieri is a genius.

As soon as the video ended I instantly had to purchase Pardon. Now just to find where the nearest Bachata classes are to try to replicate what an amazing evening and night 😉 this fragrance helped in creating a wonderful memory.

Yes, pardon is glorious… I would strongly recommend that you test first, as the patchouli is very dark, and you’ve been heavy for some, but this also brings the magic to the fragrance

OMG! I just received my bottle of Terroni via Luckyscent…along with the requested sample of Pardon & Black Afgano. The samples are provided as dabbers BUT I immediately loved Pardon! This is now on the very short list of “next buys” for me. It is nothing like anything else in my collection and DEFINITELY screams Bachata Vibes!
Did you like Pardon more than Black Afgano? I have them both and black afgano is in my top 5 out of everything I own

I’ve got a bottle of this and complete fell in love. Unfortunately I’m having major performance issues! Where is the silage and projection I’ve been hearing about? People say 2-3 sprays is enough but it’s barely a whisper with that application on me. Very disappointing for how beautiful a fragrance and little performance. Batch code 01221😢

Of all the youtubers I've seen, you'd be the one I expected the least to be a bachatero. 🤦🏽♂️😂 My SO is half-dominican and she made me get into it little by little. I can tell you, your comment about(some of the) the lyrics is spot on. On to Pardon, I somehow have not tried it yet. Now, my puertorican eyebrows really stood up when I heard this likeable australian go on about how much he liked Salsa & Bachata. That's my groove, man! 😂 I guess it goes to show that music and fragrance have much more common elements that people realize. To the point that we talk about notes, accords and compositions on both.

I wanted to draw on something that everyone could understand how sexy and seductive this fragrance is and nothing says it better than latin style dancing (the music, the moves, the intimacy) and then there's Bachata🥰....this is why I also listed Romero Santos in case someone was unaware of what this music sounds like.
And yes, I'm really loving this connection with everyone....it's pretty cool😎....one day my wife and I will be in the States and you're going to have to show me where you guys go Bachata dancing! (now that would be cool!)
I blind bought Pardon by NASOMATTO based on this very sophisticated review, however the opening & the dry down smell exactly like my cheap designer 30usd Bentley for men intense, which ruins the experience for me honestly. Lesson learned. Always test before you buy.

Watched your videos and blind bought both Black Afgano and Baraonda. I love them both. However, they seem to be more suitable for the colder months. Would you categorise Pardon as a summer Fragrance?
Not at all. Pardon is also a cool weather fragrance.

Interesting, I don't think I'm familiar with the brown version. I have a feeling that it's the same thing...it could be that the oils may have been a different colour for that batch....but in truth I don't know.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector i think you might be correct, I have seen pictures of the item for sale online and have noticed that difference in color in some of the listings. Might just be how the picture was taken! Thank you as your insight was still helpful my friend.
I honestly love this one, and just got it as my 2nd niche frag. I personally love the scent but find the projection and sillage underwhelming, with it being a skin scent after the first hour or so. Is this the same for you?

My experience with it is that it lingers for longer than what you think. It's true that it's not a room filler but I find that when I'm wearing it (and especially if my body heats up) that it pops/re-emerges with a strong presence.
I would be curious to know if those around you are detecting the fragrance.....I have a feeling that they might be (but curious to know if that's the case)

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector It is definitely a beautiful fragrance, but it does seem as if projection wise it is underwhelming, others don’t really detect it unless they put their nose to it, which is unfortunate because of how beautiful the fragrance is. Can I ask how many sprays of pardon do you use? I based my experience off of 2 sprays, one behind the neck and one on the chest.
7 to 8 hours longevity and strong sillage is crazy to me because I just got this like a month ago, I find i can barely smell it after 4 hours, asked my cousin and he couldn't even smell anything on me to unless his nose was right next to my neck (where I sprayed it).
Hmmm, not sure why this isn't performing as well on you?? I'm guessing you purchased from a legit retailer? I know that there's a lot of Nasomatto fakes out there
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I purchased from the Australian website called feelingsexy have you heard of it? Nasomatto also has a video on their website outlining what to lookout for in telling apart a genuine fragrance from a fake, from watching that video I have no reason to believe it to be fake but who know's maybe it is? I think next time I purchase a Nasomatto i'll go to a more genuine retailer, but as you know the prices for these Nasomatto fragrances in the Australian Market are insane, which is why I was more comfortable purchasing from feelingsexy for a relatively cheaper price point.

I love using this as my 'going out' fragrance as it has moderate sillage; people detect this fragrance around me.
It won't fill a room at a party. But in a restaurant or an intimate setting, it works well

Does duro smell similar to black afgano to you?
Hey Bryan, I really find these 2 fragrances very different. For me Duro almost has a slight boozy leather wood vibe to it. Whereas BA is more chocolatey green woods.
I find BA as a great chill fragrance; perfect for cooler weather, whereas Duro invigorates me; this is my "get things done" fragrance⚡️

I can only smell woods, some pine smell, maybe a little cinnamon, but no chocholate, nothing what you were talking about. 😶
Funny, I just saw your message and I had to instinctively reach for the bottle....on first spray, I get this earthy, warm, slight chocolate vibe🥰.....woody as you mentioned and yes with some spice; total LOVE for this fragrance.
One thing that I enjoy about perfume and smelling is that the olfactory experience is so unique to each of us.....the classic example is Oud (somebody smells a rich and opulent scent😍 but someone else is scratching their head cause all they're smelling is barnyard😕)
But the bottomline is that Pardon is amazing. I'm guessing you have this perfume Angelo?

Not yet - I'd like to buy a darker, modern fragrance and I am browsing & testing the masterworks of Alessandro Gualtieri.
However, Pardon's green pine note threw me off a bit. It is a bit too fresh, at least to my crooked nose. (covid damaged my nose it seems)

Hey Daver, great to hear from you homie! Sohan is totally awesome (hence the smiley face)...I realise that you have to prioritise your purchases (unless you have some endless amount of cash...then in that case buy all the ones I suggested👊🏼)
So for me Sohan is really unique take on Rose; projects well and I find I get great millage out of this one....but like I've always suggested Dave, you need to test first as it might work differently on you.
If you want a 'compliment getter' then I really suggest Pardon by Nasomatto...this one is a winner.

1.Making sure that this bottle is legit. I know that there are a number of 'fake' Nasomatto out there. Did you get this from a legit retailer?
2. I sometimes get 'nose blind' to my fragrance, but everyone around me can still pick it up. Normally, when I feel that I can't smell a fragrance on myself, I ask those around me if their picking up the perfume....99.9% of the time the answer is yes.

This fragrance smells like grand soir the ingredients are pretty much the same.
Interesting that you say that. I too have MKF's Grand Soir but I'm not getting that same vibe from these 2 fragrances....for me Pardon is a lot more woody/oud in the dry down; whereas Grand Soir has a spicy amber vibe to it.

The beauty about perfume/smells is that our brain interprets smells in a unique and distinct way. So yes, for you , you’re picking up more of the spices.
