I need to be on 1st access!! been playing since Football Simulator days. I definitely want to help in the development this time around!:
1. any way to put a search bar on the top of the news screen? would function like pressing ctrl F on any document nothing fancy
2. on scouting screen, look to create a "select all" button on the far right for each prospect so you quickly scout players you definately want to know everything about faster.
3. Your weights and heights for players has been off for a while, not sure if they do actually effect anything | I would cap height at 6'8-6'9, I've seen TE's at 6'10 in my games | the biggest offender is the FB's are way underweight they should be 245-265 lbs. Obviously people were smaller in different era's but I don't think you want to pull your hair out trying to match physical norms of the time.
4. move the SIM SEASON and Quick Sim buttons over to the far right and/or put a safety on the sim season button to verify the choice of simming the full season. I've accidentally hit that button a few times and theres no stopping it :(
5. Love the holdout addition!

I am still noticing not all scouted information unlocking for the prospects that you scout in between rounds. It works perfectly for the pre draft scout but not live after each round. I am missing a ton of coach grades especially. They stay saying 0.
It looks like the scouting view of the scout draft screen is giving us all grades without the need to check off “watch tape” or “work out”… if we just get all this information in scouting view, why bother paying 5 points to get that same info to pop up on player cards?
There are glitches they repeat over and over. After playing defense and stopping the offense all of a sudden the next play is my QB dropping back and getting sacked for 11-15 yds ....non-stop.
I can be on offense and then suddeny i'm on defense (and no there were no turnovers)
Still think this game need a big upgrade on financials, economics, salaries. Signing new rookies should be better setup. Perhaps in the commi mode you should be able to set the standard salaries rookies are handing. Only the signing bonuses is mostly open. Same thing with salaries after all the FA rounds. Players get minimum salaries depending on how many years they played.
Same thing with rookies that are cut by their first team the second team signing them later is a standard wage.
If Madden can do a simple signing bonus structure why not DDS ?
DDS basketball game is much more detailed into these parts so why not pro football ?
So the knowledge of how to fix this is in the "house" of DDS I think.
I understand the urge to keep it simple, but when addressing all kind of folks you might miss out on folks anyhow. The sale has gone down when looking at Steam, and many others have entered this market. The arcade style of NFL are there for those who go easy on details and this game got options that can skipped by those who don't like them.
Still one haven't go all the way of details but surely these basic things so that manage caps and such are a bit more realistic. No need to mix in things like special bonuses or Guaranteed salary. But Signing Bonus are so BIG it just can't be kept out.
The game is now so close to be as perfect a PC manager game can get, so why not take these small steps.
Would it take a miracle to start implementing multi player modes that don’t involve file swapping, that just exist online?
With all these new special coaches can one see a ex. QB Coach advance or be hired as a Offensive Coordinator.
Question on holdouts: Does the flip side also apply, can we re-negotiate contracts?
Don't reduce scouting points! Sure, I get the argument with only scouting players that fall to you but what about trading up for a player who could be insane or trading down because you think there are better players available? Irl, NFL teams scout EVERYONE but only interview a few
