  • I bet some of you were wondering where I have been and my opinion on the Baby Einstein videos. Well, you will find after watching this video. I thought it would be a good idea to make a ranking and tier list for all of the Baby Einstein videos, finally, so I decided to do that, because it's about time I did something like this. I hope you guys are glad to see a video from me after all these years! Enjoy!

Fantastic list, one of, if not the best ranking video on the BE series on TH-cam at the moment in my opinion. In fact, I found myself agreeing with you on a lot of things, i.e. you putting Baby Mozart at 11 (same spot as me) and the things you have said about your top 5. I also really loved how this video was edited, I feel like at some point I should update my ranking video after giving this a full watch.

I would like to show you my top 10 favorite Baby Einstein videos (warning, this might be a long one):
10: Baby Shakespeare (I love what you said about it feeling like a movie or Shakespeare play with the curtain effects and introductions/roll calls, the puppet shows are so memorable and the Beethoven music is awesome! Of course, the poems in it are just wonderful and iconic and each of them were perfectly chosen, plus it's the only thing I've seen that's about poetry which I have high respect for Julie Clark for doing this idea, overall, classic video, one of the best and I totally see why you put it at number 1).
9: Baby MacDonald (It's always very nice and comforting watching all of the farm scenery in it and the music fits so perfectly in it, which is also great! I like the puppet shows a lot and are pretty well done, nice fitting toys, and it's just a great video all around that's perfect to watch around the season of fall as well as Thanksgiving since it really gives off that vibe).
8: Lullaby Time (I know most don't really like it that much but I've always had a big liking for it for as long as I can remember watching it because of how relaxing and calming the music is and I think it's one of the best soundtracks in the series for that reason and it really does hit me inside whenever I listen to it, I'm glad more focus is put on the music/toys which really gives off some Baby Mozart/Bach vibes, except with more than just 1 composer, and I really love the toys and want to own some of them like the gumball machine and the marble run, definitely very memorable in that aspect. I love how it only has 1 puppet in it with it being the baby lamb whose scenes are always pretty nice and kind of wholesome to watch, I wish this video would get more love since it seems pretty overhated, I know it's not for everyone, but it could use some more respect I feel like, it also would've been a better ending to the series instead of what came after it, but regardless, it's one of my personal favorite Baby Einstein videos and it really needs more love and attention).
7: Baby Monet (Such a wonderful video that goes over what the 4 seasons have to offer with nice Vivaldi music and mixed with the scenery gives off such a peaceful feeling inside, some great puppet shows too with a zebra representing each season and I think they look really cool, and with Vivaldi the duck as well just makes each puppet show so entertaining, especially the ones with Vivaldi in them. All of the Claude Monet paintings in it are just so gorgeous and beautiful to look at and are seen all over this video and I love it a lot. It's so underrated and really deserves more attention because for a video that's about nature and the outside world, no one really talks about it that much and I wish that wasn't the case, one of my favorite videos that is too overlooked and is great all around).
6: Baby's Favorite Places (Easily the most underrated video in the series since nobody ever talks about it and it really deserves SO much more attention than it gets! Love the topic of exploring different places outside of our world, love the banger Mozart and Joplin music that's very underappreciated, love the puppet shows and characters in it with my favorite version of Pavlov and the racoon is here again which is cool. Toys are nice for when they show up and even though the sign language is definitely pointless, I'm fine with that and it doesn't hurt anything from my love for it. It's my favorite video from the later years and it's such an underrated gem in Baby Einstein that I really love and enjoy every time I watch it).
5: Baby Van Gogh (A childhood classic for all of us, you said everything about it perfectly with how awesome it is with how it teaches about colors and it's so easy to see why it's most people's favorite, it just shows itself and takes you on a special experience with all that it offers with a fantastic soundtrack, iconic toys, memorable puppet shows and of course the Van Gogh paintings in it just makes this such a masterpiece that is still a blast to watch today!).
4: Baby Bach (Ah a childhood favorite of mine that I've always loved watching along with Mozart when I was little and both really mean a lot to me, both such classics with fantastic Bach music with nice selections that always sticks with me, amazing toys throughout the whole video, and wholesome scenes with aspen and Sierra, definitely an A tier video right here).
3: Baby Mozart (I put it slightly over Bach because Mozart is my favorite composer and the impact it had on the company as a whole for how popular it became, we all remember everything about it and heavily grew up with it, iconic and memorable Mozart music, toys, and the puppet show with Bard that is always enjoyable to watch for how iconic and also infamous it is. Baby Mozart is my favorite video made by Julie Clark and I can totally understand and respect your opinion on it, but for what it did for Baby Einstein, it's just hard not to love it, and how can you not love it? It's such a Baby Einstein classic that we all really love!).
2: Numbers Nursery (With what I already said about this video with my childhood memories with it makes me put it this high and I'll always love it forever

Very respectable list, I do agree with a lot of things you undertake here. It's now that I have experienced a phase in finding Beethoven's Pathetique 2nd mov. as sentimental as it can "possibly" get. On the hand of learning to sightread it myself. All of these BE ranking videos I've seen have fascinated me no matter how small or large; the impact is greater. I thought I had my outdated ranking saved somewhere on my hard drive, I'm gonna have to dig for it. I plan to update it pretty soon, on behalf of publishing it I just can't see it happening anytime soon. However, I really did enjoy this ranking and found it relatable. Best of luck to you and you're journey.

    (🚨WARNING: TEXT WALL🚨)
First of all, love Mario 64 and am also obsessed with Baby Einstein, so this channel is pretty much on my wavelength, subscribed :)
I didn't actually hate Meet the Orchestra. It did drag quite a bit, but the parts where the hippo was rushing to try to make it onstage in time were funny. Still didn't love it though, so your placement is pretty agreeable.
To be honest, I actually love Baby Noah and rate it at the very top of S tier, here's why. All the puppet shows were pretty enjoyable, with highlights including the penguin race (where the elephant gets covered in snow), the iconic blue hippo duet with meaningful lyrics (ooh eh uh) where they get smooched by an elephant who's having a seizure, the elephant getting pranked by a dolphin, and the panda with the moving raincloud who wholesomely shares his umbrella with the flamingo. The toys were also pretty cool to me, with the penguin race (although that one gets overused to hell and back) the elephant that pours all the shapes out of it's trunk, the arc that you can put the animals in, and some others all making me jealous as a kid. I also enjoyed all the animal footage and the music, and there was a lot of content with nice visuals. I agree with the flap section complaint, but it never bothered me personally. Baby Noah is the greatest piece of cinema ever created.
Some other notes: During Language Nursery, the FNAF music box song started playing during the alarm clock segment and my brother absolutely lost his shit, NEITHER of us were expecting that and it caught us so off guard. (and yes I know it didn't originate from FNAF and Language Nursery came first, but it was still hilarious)
Baby Santa deserved A tier imo, but I won't write a 1 paragraph essay defending it like I did for Baby Noah lol.
I don't actually disagree with your take on Baby Mozart, it kinda bored me and didn't feel like it had much structure, so I wouldn't put it very high either, along with the other musical ones which also felt unstructured to me.
Because of my take on Baby Noah which varies drastically from yours, that also effects my take on World Animals which I see as "worse Baby Noah" instead of it being the other way around. Pretty much, whichever of those two you don't prefer can be seen as "the worst baby einstein video" because of how similar they are.
The clown and crayons in Baby Newton kind of creeped me out and turned me off from it, and I completely forgot everything about Baby Shakespeare immediately after watching it, although once I remembered what happened I found myself vibing with it. Dang, now we both dunked on each other's #1's. Overall, your takes were pretty good though, loved the video!!! btw, I made a tierlist of my own if you wanna see it: tiermaker.com/list/tv-and-movies/baby-einstein-videos-best-to-worst-79728/4290199

Baby Van Gogh is number one for me!!! The stock footage and toys are incredibly psychedelic, the classical music’s tone fits perfectly with the color, and the puppet designs and their scenes are so cute! Especially with the one puppet show where Vincent Van Goat falls in love with Vivian and gives her flowers! What’s even more adorable about the puppet shows is that Vincent is one of the only BE puppets who can actually talk.
Here’s an interesting fact: According to a TED talk in 2011, Julie Aigner Clark said that Baby Van Gogh was even her favorite video she worked and showed clips from that exact video when doing other public speaking events about starting a small business. She even owned 3 puppets (Vincent, Vivian, and Morris Moose) from that video that are still splattered with paint and/or wearing an accessory (like Sunglasses, Autism Awareness Pin, or a Cape).

Baby's First Moves is definitely the worst one and I'm glad you feel the same, first off, the topic doesn't even fit Baby Einstein at all, how does baby exercising fit the description of the series? It also relies too way too much on babies in it which makes it such an uncomfortable experience to watch, the music/sound design sounds terrible and nothing like Bill Weisbach music whatsoever, some tracks are tolerable, but most just sound too much like TH-cam kids stuff. Puppet shows definitely aren't good, that Galileo ones are decent, but the others aren't. Also, who's even the host of it? Since it has a lot of puppets in it and they just shoehorn random characters in it like Pavlov for some reason, I think Galileo is the host for the more scenes his in, but that's still a questionable issue. I agree with what you said about it too and every time I remember watching it, I just got so aggravated by everything in it and I just wonder why they even made it in the first place, for how much it feels so unlike Baby Einstein video, I probably would've confused it for a ripoff if the puppets weren't in it.

Not to mention some of the music, it just made me cry considering how dramatic some of the scenes and music were.

I did really enjoy your ranking list and find it interesting, but I wanna tell you some of my personal disagreements while also respecting your opinions.
I totally understand if people aren't that into Baby Noah for how it tends to drag a lot, but for me I don't feel like it does, it at least has more going for it than videos like Meet the Orchestra or Wordsworth, and I feel like it's very creative and unique for how it introduces animals from around the world with having the lift the flap concept which I do like with the little tunes that play in them and of course, having lots of Noah's Ark references in it from the toys to having the animals riding on it which looking at that now I really appreciate that idea that they did and it stands out more and isn't too basic compared to the Dolittle's (which are both great and classic videos). I think for how much I watched it a lot when I was little gives it a soft spot for me, but for an animal video, I like it the most because of what I just said about it.
I'm not gonna act so angry about the Numbers Nursery placement for what you said about it being repetitive, which I can sort of see why, but I feel like the format is really structured out very well with what it does and I feel like it's literally Baby Van Gogh but with numbers with original poems by Julie Clark (which I love how more involve she is for a Disney video which really makes it special I feel like), the number train, the puppet shows about each number, the toys, and the scenes with the ladybug showing the numbers on a sign which I really like. Plus, it has such a variety of puppets and all of them are enjoyable/memorable and are some of the best in the whole series! The music is very nostalgic and memorable to listen to and I always get hit inside whenever I do so, and every track is very catchy. It's the most childhood video for me with my memories of watching it like crazy on my iPod along with Van Gogh which is the same for me and it's always meant so much to me and I always love going back and rewatching it because it's such a blast to watch and I just get brought back to childhood with it and it's insanely nostalgic for me, it used to my favorite, but now it's second behind Baby Galileo for how phenomenal everything about it is, but all that I just said about it still stick for me
