Extremely glad to see Joo in play once more. He is really great player, with awesome style. But, I'm so sad to see Joo in this condition.. He needs a bit more time to renew his skills.
And, yeap, new 40+ ball - not good for his style.. If he came back seriosly - we should see renovation of his play. It will be very interesting.
By the way, Ionescu isn't hard opponent for him. A few years earlier it gotta be 3:0score for Joo without any chances.

Poor Joo... his play is the most amazing to me but because they have raised up the size of the ball and weight obviously, its so hard to play the way he usualy does. The speed of the ball has slow down and the rotation as well. too bad they did this because speed of table tennis was to fast on tv. But i also regret the previous ball which was more fun with lots of rotation and magic tricks.
Finally my waiting has fulfilled
Joo just changes his forehand rubber Tenergy to Hurricane. I think it is causing his forehand to be unstable since he is getting used to it also the gap from retirement. I am just happy he is back.

His sponsor CEO revealed that he uses TSP P1R. He used to change Tibhar Grass Dtecs and TSP P1R back and forth to confuse opponent. But he mainly uses P1R.
