Esper has landed! You've done it! Another epic journey for Jamie Liz and old Esper. Now you can all have a well deserved rest. I appreciate some of that journey will have been hellish for you, certainly taken its toll on Esper but this is the life of a live aboard. Its not all romantic sunsets and Jamie topless on the poop deck! Looking fwd to seeing you get Esper shipshape again, get your self body and mind ready for the next big adventure.... Its so exciting!
Yes, indeed, no-one needs either of us topless, haha! It was tough in many ways (see the latest video podcast on anxiety), but there were some unforgettable good times too. 👌🙏 Liz
Absolutely brilliant! I am back and can’t wait to binge watch all your videos. This is an amazing journey. I decided to watch this one first before going back to where I had left off. Great to see you guys doing well. 👍👍👍
Lovely to see you here! If you watch the next podcast (022, out in a few hours) before you go back over our Borneo to Lombok epic adventure, it will add a different perspective to what you see... Liz 👌
@@followtheboat excellent! Thank you. Got soooo much to catch up, but looking forward to it. You guys are fantastic!!! Love the wittiness and your openness and honest opinions. Brilliant!!!
We were booked for Bali, gilli meno and lombok before covid struck, doubt we will ever get there now so hope to enjoy it through your eyes. Please climb the volcano...
202nd subscriber LIKE; 1K+ desktop ride-along view... here we go. This episode made me think: some folks like to read books others have written, and then let their own imagination create the scenery and encounters with people. On the other hand - you've chosen to live it and share it... in person. I'm not a reader, so thanks for letting me see parts of the world through your presentation and narration. Continued 'peace & fair winds' to you. "Cheers!"
It's lovely that you "get" what we do. Yes, meeting and doing (when possible) trumps reading any day. And we're always thrilled to show our viewers what we see. 🙏👌♥️ Liz
Thanks guys. Such everyday stresses, gear problems....sends a shiver down my spine. Shame the guide was so wrong. Thankyou for showing what goes wrong, id hate to hear the cursing! Hope he was easy on you Liz, we all f-up sometimes, me daily, my whole life actually, that's why I watch you guys to see how its done right ha ha. Life on a boat is so much harder than 'normal'. No second chances- unless Jamie performs daily miracles, which is necessary in remote locals. You two be kind to each other - everyone stuffs up sometimes.
Yes, it was a relief. At the time we were not able to appreciate just how much we'd achieved. It's looking back at the footage and making these videos that allows us some perspective. 🙏 Liz
I Limped into Medana Bay Marina in a 38 ft Lagoon with port engine out and starboard engine Spluttering due to Bad fuel , we had the tinny tied to the side of the boat in the water in case the engine died . we made it :)
A wonderful crossing with only one mishap... Had you stayed in the first bay would you have made contact with the people in the catamaran? (I don't know what the protocol or etiquette is.) Finally, Lombok; it's been your quest for months now, I think.
As usual on sailing sites, it's more about where you sailed TO than SAILING itself. Plus, a big segment on problems that should be kept to their own videos
Give the spanners a polish, don't want to look like one neglects his tools in public :) boat works and problem solving one of my favourite subjects ( yes I'm weird ) but you knew that anyway lol

J was very understanding, I was much harder on myself! So glad you understand how much harder daily living can be when you're on a boat. 👍🤓 Liz
Whoopee…At least ya made it…despite all the Issues👍 Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy😎

Me I’ve not made a mistake in my life. Well there was yesterday, maybe the day before, and last week wow major screw up. 😂 keep on you two!
Hehehe. Kind of you! But I felt so stupid. In almost the WORST situation, I took my eye off the ball. 🤦🏼 Liz
Your "stamp" on the off side, with Esper almost restning in the air was amazing, nice for you to bee on the hard for a wihle 🙃🐊!🕊🇸🇪
Cool, thanks. It was nice to slow to a stop for a bit. 👌😊 Liz

Well done! We saw quite a few boats arrive there in a similar state of repair. I think people travel a long way to get there. 🤔🤓 Liz

We spoke to them as we arrived...and as we left! There's no etiquette, just common sense and being neighbourly. 😊👌 Liz
Who do you watch on TH-cam? Do you watch TH-cam? We follow your lifestyle, What do you like to watch other then the beautiful places you go.
Home for a few months. Have a wee rest 😴. Boat work always awaits.💪
Cheers! Boat work is ALWAYS waiting! 😄 Liz
