From what I can make out of your post, it's not very clear what you're saying.
De Ligt, is shockingly better than Maguire, this is not rocket science.
Compare Verane and Maguire, then do the same with De Ligt. It's blatant De Ligt is closer to Varane's level at the age of 24/25.

@@wtfamiactuallyright1823 I think Maguire is slightly better in some areas, and De ligt is better in other areas. When it comes to winning heading duels i'd go with Maguire, also he can hit good long passes. But for more agility, tackles and defensive positioning i'd go with De ligt.
The only thing Maguire may be better at, is low block defending and there are players in the Championship that do it better than him atm.
With the mobility needed in the prem, De Ligt has the advantage over Maguire in every area but one; a pinpoint pass deflected off Maguire's head, into the oppositions goal. 😐
My gran is an improvement on Maguire.

To compare someone who is the second youngest player to score for Ajax, the youngest player to appear in a European final, youngest player to captain a side in a champions league semi, only defender to have ever won the young European player of the year, winner of the world player of the year, league champion in 3 different countries for 3 of the world's biggest clubs and made nearly 50 appearances for his country at 24 yrs old to a bloke who has been relegated twice is ludicrous. To say he's twice the player isn't even doing him justice.
And then there's the lie about Dier replacing him at Bayern. This didn't happen. After Dier's arrival, De Ligt partnered him at cb for 14 out of Dier's 15 starts.
Then there's the nonesense he made up about there being a problem with Rashford. Where did that come from? Completely made up. Of course it is rotation. Why does no one go on about Bernado Silva not playing, or Luis Diaz, or Jota? It's because they rotate. Rashford started more than the other two this season, it was time for a rest.
Talking without research is what is embarrassing. And you defending that is worse.

Besides, you don't actually have to be that great to be better than Maguire do you? Although, De Ligt clearly is.
He was sold at a profit from Juve to a bigger club and better team where he was a mainstay for the 2 years he was there. He won the league, got rookie of the year and was in the Bundesliga team of the year. The second year, he was their stand out defender in a dysfunctional team and only missed games because of injury or rest. He was sold due to restructuring of the wage bill and the club faced a huge backlash from fans because of that. He took a wage cut to come here and was cheaper than Max Killman for christ sake. It flabbergasts me how anyone can criticise that signing. Of all the questionable signings we've made, this isn't one.
