Thanks for this - it worked! My volume button was one of the things not working so I was unable to do a factory reset. I have ordered a new Samsung tab. However today I found the volume button was working and I was able to do a reset. Will give my husband the old Samsung when the new one arrives. Thanks again.

This is an exceptional tab, I love it, it has better LED resolution then my S22, the only problem is that the software is outdated and unsupported. Kept crashing until I restored it! Good Job

LOL. all the documentation I saw was to press Home, Power and Volume UP. This was the only thing I found where it actually said to do the correct process of Home/Power/Volume DOWN. Thanks for the correct info.

I followed each step.
Problem is in set up mode the galaxy tablet continually says "couldn't connect to internet"
I successfully reset two other tablets using the same router. Please advise me how to connect to Internet in set up mode. I no longer have access to device settings until set up has been completed.
