Corey, you’ve got to get her a cast iron skillet so y’all are not eating Teflon! Sending positive vibes. The rice looks yummy. Thank you so much for sharing! Please do more vids!!!
Oh no that pan is not safe. When the non stick coating starts coming off you can't safety use it anymore. That coating is toxic really and when it starts coming off particles of it get into the food you're cooking in it. Barring what's going on with the pan, the rice looks good.
Will Kim be able to return with you to the United States? It would be great to see her cooking in the kitchen with Mamaw. Maybe Kim could make a cook book too!
Some foods will stick pretty badly in an iron skillet. If you want to also have a non stick skillet, do a little research and look for one that has a lid. If you buy the same sized iron skillet as the non stick one, the one lid should work for both skillets. Iron skillets take a bit more care and work to build up a more non stick like surface. Never use a metal tool in a non stick skillet even though some say you can. They will last longer if you use a wooden tool or a silicon one. I hope this helps. Thats a yummy looking rice dish. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Corey, cut the video, then come back. Fried rice is my favorite. Amazon sells Knorr liquid seasoning. Looks delicious. I love the crunchy on the bottom. God bless you both. ❤
This is GREAT! Corey, I can see Kim’s personality coming through as she cooks! You both make such a team as you are cooking together! I LOVE it! Keep the recipes coming Kim! I look forward to it! Make the videos as long or as short as you see fit! Margaret, I cannot wait to see you and Kim in the kitchen as Corey describes everything! What a team!! Maybe another cookbook with Kim and Margaret’s recipes together! 💕
I love Pancit! In the late 60s-early 70s, my great-grandmother worked as a nurse in West Memphis with a Filipino lady and shared her pancit recipe! The dish is on our menu at least once every couple of months! We love it!
Hello Cory & Kim..😊 It's so nice to see you together. Kims fried rice looked so delicious! 😋 Sending love and blessings you both. ❤🙏 P.S. A BIG HELLO 👋to Margaret! Hope yourre taking it slow and getting some rest while Cory is away. God bless and see you soon.
Oh Corey and Kim! So good to see you both! Cooking one of my favorite things, fried rice. Yum! Omgosh y'all are such an adorable couple! Thank you for sharing this video with us! It blesses me so much. Hi Margaret and Milton! Love you both and all your family! Hi "Little Miss" 😊 Blessings in Jesus name! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really love this video because it’s the first time I ever got to see Cory what he looks like live. He’s a very handsome young man and a very good husband and a very wonderful son to his mother. You need to show yourself a little bit more Cory.
Corey, y'all don't worry about the "food police" with their negative comments. Y'all are not cooking for them, or anyone else. You are cooking for just yourselves. Use the ingredients you like & the equipment that you have available to you at the present moment; they can do the same when they're cooking and sharing videos. Personally, I think the recipe looks delicious, and it's nice to see and watch you guys in the kitchen together, sharing a glimpse of your life as newly marrieds. Reminds me of my days as a young married, some 45 years ago. Enjoy these moments to the utmost, time passes so quickly!
I wasn't aware making someone aware of a hazard in the pan they're using was being 'food police'. A lot of people don't know once that coating unseats and starts coming off that it's toxic. People are just looking out for him and his wife, you certainly don't seem to be. Your remarks are about as toxic as that pan.
No one is being nasty about their comments, they are just making them aware about the pan. They are staying at an Air B & B and that pan belongs to the owner
Hi Corey and Kim!!! I dont mind how long the video is. I like to see the whole process. The fried rice looks super delicious!!! I will try to make this one day. Its so...nice seeing your beautiful wife cook. I like this!!! Enjoy your visit and I hope time doesnt go by too fast. Take care and GOD Bless. Great Video!!!...🇺🇸🦋
Hey Corey. I had a recipe that called for the liquid seasoning. I couldn't find it but another great substitute is "Maggi Seasoning". It's easier to find in the US. Thank you Kim for another delicious recipe that I can't wait to try 😊❤
Corey, get her a new non stick pan. Lol. I bet that fried rice is good! Thank you for sharing your wifes recipes with us. Im a fairly new subscriber, so these recipes from the Phillipines are new to me.
When is your wife going to move to the United States...I use to work with a lot of Flippino girls in California...we use to eat good and I love to make cakes and brownies and they all loved my goodies...I miss those days when they closed the Naval Base...have a fun trip Corey...I bet Mamaw... misses you!!!
They are staying in a fully furnished, rented, Airbnb-type apartment unit. They're using what they have available to them, at this time. I'm sure we've all had to "make do" a few times in our lives; if not, you've been very blessed.
This is a traditional fried rice recipe. This is a great recipe, and I'm going to have to make it because it's made the correct way. Your wife is a wonderful cook. She knows exactly what she is doing in her kitchen. We get authentic recipes from her. Keep her wonderful recipes coming. The videos definitely need to be shorter. Yet there needs to be detailed with good instructions. Is there any way that you could put the recipes in the description area? Especially since the videos are so long. I love how she is so proud of being married, and she keeps showing off her wedding ring. When I first got married I showed off my wedding ring and I still do to this day. She's a proud wife.
Thank you Kim! I'm Happy for you and Corey to be together I know it's difficult being away from each other..prayers that it's a wonderful time togather
My daughters are adopted from The Philippines and always be nice to Filippinos because they are lovely people.....I also use one of those induction cook tops.....They are amazing.
Corey, the egg is sticking because you guys are using mental utensils in the pan. You've scraped all of the finish off. It can get into your food that way.
I love these videos Corey, instead of “Here’s my Mamaw” it’s now “Here’s my wife”. Lol I love Kim’s cooking also! Is akin going to be able to come to the U.S. sine y’all are married?
Corey stop worrying about how long the video is because it’s just fine the way it is . I can eat the rice all by itself it looks delicious ! Thank you Kim I’m definitely going to try it out and you’re so cute ! 💞👏💞👏💞
Hello Margaret!! I know you miss Corey. Hello Kim good to see you again. Y'all look so happy. Glad Y'all are together again. This recipe looks so delicious! Thanks for sharing! 😊
This looks so good! I have a question about the pan? It looks like the coating on the nonstick pan is flaking a little? If that is true Please look into getting a cast iron pan or an Enameled cast iron pan. It’s so much better for everyone. I love to see the authentic respires. Thank you for sharing!
I don’t mind you cooking it all the way through. Unless it’s gonna be really long then you could probably shorten it a little bit as long as we get the main idea. I like the rice a little bit burnt also.
Cory, 1 take plz!!! Also can you fix the volume so we can hear your beautiful wife. When you record with Mamaw we can hear her lots better. Thank you, my God Bless you and keep you! Xxox💜
Corey - You have the sweetest wife ever…and ya’ll are so cute together! The rice she made looked absolutely delicious! I love lumpia! It’s one of my favorites! I love the pork and then the dessert banana lumpia. Soooo good! Hope y’all are having a good weekend! 😊😊
Looks so delicious Kim 🤤. Good to see you Corey. Love seeing y'all together and watching what I call cooking with Corey and Kim! Love y'all,God bless y'all! 🫰❤️🙏
So good to see your married life continues after being apart so long. More power to you both. I've been married 31 years already and if I don't have him snoring by my side I'm miserable 😊😊😊
reminder to corey, do not refrigerate that star margerine, it will be hard to spread, it has to be left outside on the counter!!! i got my magic sarap, and the liquid seasoning too.
I'm making this. I love Asian cuisine, and this looks delicious. Nothing is too complicated for me to cook. I really like mawmaw, but I really do not eat her cooking. I will eat your style of cooking, so keep those recipes coming! 💕💕💕
Oh honey, you need a new pan! That one right there may be your absolute favorite, but Teflon is a known carcinogen in that kind of condition. Please Santa add it to her list! It’s not worth it. Y’all are a beautiful family.
do one take bc we’re learning this technique of cooking. The simple things that we all know you could leave out, but if few things that we’re truly learning from the Filipino style of cooking, we need to see. Thanks for asking.! I think it’s great that you’re taking an active role in the process !
If i plan on making a recipe i don't mind cooking along with the video. I also don't mind if ten minutes of stirring get edited out and you just let us know, "stir until or stir for" either way i enjoy the videos!
The pan looks like it was coated and the black coating is coming off in the food, I forget the name of coating. Anyway it's not good to consume. It's not meant to be eaten. Stainless is the best or cast iron for cooking. Please don't use coated pans, pots extra.
I think they are intelligent enough to know About their pots and pans. Why don't you send them some new ones? They just got married and I'm sure that could use some new cookware.
Corey, you’ve got to get her a cast iron skillet so y’all are not eating Teflon! Sending positive vibes. The rice looks yummy. Thank you so much for sharing! Please do more vids!!!
Teflon not good for you.
Yea. The Teflon. Is peelingʻoff that pan and going into the food.
Thinking the same, use stainless steel or cast iron only.
Yes just don't want y'all to get sick from peeling Teflon. Garlic Fried Rice looks yummy. Thanks❤
Um, can't she get it herself?
So good to see your wife. She is beautiful.
Oh now i see. You can't use metal spoons in coated pans. It does scrape off teflon.
My son mashed potatoes in my bigger pot! Now it's gone!
Thanks Kim for showing me how to make this dish, Corey I’m enjoying seeing you with your wife ❤
Oh no that pan is not safe. When the non stick coating starts coming off you can't safety use it anymore. That coating is toxic really and when it starts coming off particles of it get into the food you're cooking in it. Barring what's going on with the pan, the rice looks good.
Yes she needs a non stick pan or cast iron . That pan is no good it’s done.😊😊
Oh my! There’s that scary pan! I’ll give this recipe a try. I love all the ingredients & fried rice. 🍚😋
Looks very good. Can’t wait to make it. You two are beautiful!!! Love and prayers for you all!!
Will Kim be able to return with you to the United States? It would be great to see her cooking in the kitchen with Mamaw. Maybe Kim could make a cook book too!

I attended a philipino Baptist church for years and loved their food! We had a huge dinner after church on Sunday! Love the people
The onion looked like a shallot
Definitely a shallot, which is in the onion/garlic family. It’s a hybrid I suppose.
I can’t tell you how happy I am for you two❤God has blessed you✝️🙏🏻
Thank you Kim gor cooking for us.❤
The videos are great the way they are. Keep up the good work. Corey your wife is beautiful.

You guys are so cute!! God Bless you both!!❤ Hey Mamaw, love you too❤
That pan's coating is all scratched off because of her cooking with metal utensils, YIKES.
Exactly what I was thinking. The scraping was like nails on a chalkboard. But I’m sure the rice is good
Looks so good. Enjoy!! ❤
I like the videos in 1 take. Looks great 🙏

The cookware probably came with the condo rental.
Margarine will end you.
First off your wife is adorable 🥰. You make a cute couple! She needs to do a cookbook also. I bet she has some really great recipes 🙏🙏

i love your MRS Blakes cooking too!!!!
I love the bottom part that’s nice and crispy and browned. It’s the best part I think anyway.
Either way is fine with me, I enjoy long videos or short, do which ever is best for ya'll 😊
Corey, the egg is sticking because you guys are using mental utensils in the pan. You've scraped all of the finish off. It can get into your food that way.
You made it so easy to follow 😊 I believe I can do this 😊 Thank you sooo much 😊
Thank you Kim I love rice but not good at cooking it!!

There are expensive nonstick pans that don't stick and don't come off. But I didn't see anything coming off into the food.
I love how Kim loves you so much. She's wanting to make sure you love her cooking. So sweet.
If you cook the rice the day before, or in the morning, put it spread on a tray.. it makes a good fried rice
Great recipe, I love fried rice, I prefer you not to cut the video. I like to see the whole recipe being cooked.
Wife so sweet. Rice looks so good
i love filipino garlic fried rice, but with No red onions, i would put green onions minced, and lots and lots of garlic!!!! aloha marthy (Hawaii).
