Instead of using several cups, I put one big cup on a weighing scale and drop the same amount in and mix, saves on cups and cleaning up too! Love this design, like old masters painting colours 😍

Thank you Michelle for the amazing tutorial. I have a question. Do you paint under the decoupage paper before applying? If so what colour is it?

Hi Fiona - yes. I usually paint white under the decoupage UNLESS I want the colour of the paint to effect/alter the image somewhat. Even on these dark decoupage papers. Hope that helps :)

What did you do with the edge? Did the resin go over evenly? Did you wipe any resin away. I did a round piece once and the resin didn't pour over equally over the edges and I had to sand some rough drip spots. You made look easy

Hi Kelly - I painted the resin on with a paint brush around the lip of the coffee table and taped on the underside. Some parts did drip but I cut them off with a stanley knife and sanded and it was all good. Easy peasy :)

She did the tear on purpose for a vintage Crack decor look affect w the gold guiding like paint over it ..
