While I'm going to potentially start my career pretty late, I wager that one big advantage of that is that I've had a long enough "real world" career that I may be able to provide some good "Connector" solutions!
Much of this advice can also work in reverse. If you go to your boss and say, "I have an idea that will make this company money, do you have 5 minutes?" and they say "No." or "That sounds like too much work." that's a clue you probably don't want to be working there.
I just promoted the haunt that I'm going to be working at before I return to training, my post was immediately liked by a local pro wrestling promoter!
