Hey, if you come more often to Magdeburg, and enjoy sport in general, you should aim a football - handball weekend, when both clubs have a home game against the better team of there league. So you can enjoy the football atmosphere, and still get a glance into german handball bundesliga 1, which is an experience on its own. For example this weekend were a doppel gig. Your 1.FCM - Hertha game on Saturday, and on Sunday, SC Magdeburg - SG Flensburg-Handewitt, sunday on 15:00. Or you can do it on the same day, with 2 games on the same day. If you check game plan on kicker, the 03.12.2023 could be 1 day trip, 2 different sport events in Magdeburg. 1.FCM vs 1.FCK plays on Sunday 03.12, and on the same day, on a different time, SCM vs VFL Gummersbach.
Cool stadium section, once again it wasn't us, Hertha fans, to blame. Because the support is Bundesliga-level! Too bad, now it's time to get up and keep singing. #hahohe

As for Hertha , during the end of season 2008/09 they gambled away their only chance of ever winning the Bundesliga title in my life time. They have been morally crushed as a club ever since. In freefall, shambles really. Now they're playing with 3 sons of the coach 😂 basically a 4th division / under-23 youth side, quality wise. For teams like Fürth they might win 5-0 , but we will see about the long run. Plus they are as a club basically bankrupt since forever... I don't even know how they managed to cook the books that much for that long. Wouldn't be surprised if the club has to cease operations and re-establish themselves as a slightly re-named club like they do in Italy (Fiorentina, Parma, Torino examples). According to German football league executives Hertha is Germany's "black sheep" and "worst case" they ever had to deal with during financial licensing. Supposedly our accounting laws and rules are more strict than in the Angosphere... Our club's CEO's and CFO's seem to have basically stolen / looted quite a chunk of money over the years 😂
