I'm from Atlanta and still reside here. I too am a 30 year old virgin, and it's hard to find a Christian man that's genuinely honors God and trying to do things God's way. The initial conversation is always along the lines of how long will it take to get to the bedroom. Usually once guys find out my lifestyle, they always respect it but go ghost afterwards. It's disheartening being called crazy sometimes for waiting until marriage, but I've learned that living for God will truly require strength and endurance against a world that's going in a completely different direction.

What I’m realizing through this episode is that both men and women who are preparing for marriage, are having some issues with meeting the spouse that’s actually trying to live for God. We gotta do better as Kingdom children and this podcast episode is certainly a step in the right direction.
I always ask myself “Why should this journey be marred with so much uncertainty, yearning, doubt, hope and then some? What lessons am I to learn? Perhaps God doesn’t think I’m ready yet? Perhaps marriage isn’t on the cards for me.” I sit with this quite often

I feel also the reason it’s marred is to stop people just willy nilly marry as this is a sacred commitment not to be entered or taken lightly.
Excellent..My son is 31 years old and he is married with kids.. He is a good man and found a good wife. My youngest son is 16 and I’ve prayed for his wife since the womb. There are good Godly men out here.. Stay encouraged Queens and Kings

Thank you for sharing your testimony, Dozie! Something that seems confusing is that you're willing to date unsaved women (those who are "open to loving God") but then you break up with them for not being saved. You are looking for women in the street (bars, etc.) and then are frustrated when they demonstrate street behaviors and mindsets. These things may be part of the problem. It is ABSOLUTELY refreshing to hear a man share the same values like me. It has been absolutely crazy out here trying to date because once most men hear that you are abstaining, they completely loose interest. So I have been intentional in standing my ground about waiting for what God has for me and understanding the spiritual implications of soul ties, I refuse to bend. Yeah. The Lord reveal what they are about to you in advance. That's a blessing. You will avoid unnecessary heartache and drama that way. Be led by the spirit of God. Fast, pray, and seek His face. Focus on doing what God called and created you to do. Focus on healing and deliverance in this season. God have away of bringing two people together if it is His will. You won't have to do or say anything in order to get the attention of the man that God have for you. He will work it out in Jesus name. Be blessed and encouraged in the Lord. God loves you, and so do I.

No city can be painted with one brush. I have lived in Atlanta twice for a total of 30 years as of this month. First of all, sin of all kinds is everywhere, and, likewise, good people and good things are everywhere. I am glad this young man is staying true to his beliefs, but, I promise you, he's mixing oil and water. You can't find a pearl in a pigsty. He's looking in all the wrong places. He's mature, self aware, christ-like, and he knows what he wants. He holds himself to a standard he believes God wants for him. That takes work. I agree that to be balanced in all things is key.

Looks alone will not get it, I always say if that man is battling his own demons, a woman’s breast, butt, or anything else on her isn’t going to redirect his mind. You have to speak to the spiritual King in him. You have to go to war in prayer for him. Be the woman/wife that brings More than just sexy physically to the table. Be the woman that learns how to bring prayer, love, support, wisdom, sauce, intelligence, purpose, class, gentleness, value, and drive to your man/husband life. A woman that knows with prayer, purpose and action knows who she is outside of looks.

I'm from Atlanta, and definitely do not have these beliefs and morals. I think Atlanta gets a bad rep simply because certain shows capitalize on what seems popular. Not all women in Atlanta are bisexual, not all women in Atlanta are scammers!! Some of us want God fearing, monogamous marriages! Some of us aren't trying to smash, lol. I'm not too sure where he goes to church or find these women that he's associating himself with, but I've lived in Atlanta for a few years now and friends that I associate with as well as myself are successful Christian single women that do not condone or live this type of lifestyle. From listing to this guy. I think he still have some maturing to do. He sounds good on the surface but he still seem unintentional. Still in the club popping bottles, or making wrong and strong decisions etc. Also he sounds very superficial about outward beauty. The bible tells us a wife is a virtuous woman, and a beautiful woman without content is like putting a nose ring on a pig.... so While i commend him on his walk, I think he still need to work on himself.

I usually don't leave comments but I feel compelled too and let me explain myself: (1) You say you are a Christian, but you are going to Secular Parties, Bars, Wilding out, etc... That doesn't seem Wise to be looking for a Authentic Christian woman in those settings: The Bible says we are in this World but not apart of this world, so we are set apart: and that is the problem, you have so many people who say they are Christian, but are not producing any fruits of the Spirit, one foot in the world, and one foot in the church, the Bible says Lukewarm, “'I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Yes. I have watched him interview on multiple TH-cam channels. He’s very concerning and I wish he would not receive platforms to continue this roadshow he is on.
I must honestly say that this episode was very conflicting for me. Though I applaud this young man for being firm in his love for God and his discipline on his stance on not having sex outside the covenant of marriage, I had a hard time aligning his actions with what he’s saying he truly wants. I don’t know too many good Christian women that goes to bars, but I am a lady of a certain age so that may be a thing. Also, I’m an avid reader of the Bible and God didn’t make Adam take Eve as his wife, that was Adam’s choice. I just don’t think this young man is ready for a full blown relationship and that’s okay. I would like for him to come back and let us know when God tells him specifically who’s the one for him. On a brighter note, loved the letter at the end! Looking forward to the next episode.

I must say I truly agree with you. I do not think that this guest is ready for a truly Christian wife. I too thought the same thing that though I am blessed to see a man that is waiting for marriage before becoming intimate, he seems immature and is trying to walk on both sides of the fence. This is the realest description of Atlanta if I’ve ever heard. It’s hard to meet quality people who aren’t out to play games or scam you….or get drunk they whole life (that had me on the floor). Best bet is to stay in the house, get your travel on and work on becoming your best self.

Most of us are not patient and we want what we want right now. which eventually get us into trouble. I believe In the spirit of discernment and it will bless you if you let it. Great conversation beautiful dialog! But I want to say that I am 35 years old and I have been married for 10 years I'm also born and raised in Atlanta and what I know is that atlanta born people my age or older don't act like what atlanta is now. Our city has been infiltrated by the movie/music scene and everything that comes with it. Georgia has alot of praying people here and alot of people have had there first experience with christ here, just a friendly reminder of who we are.
Mmm...his message sounds conflicting 🤔. The energy and some of his behavior seems to send one message and his expectations and activities seem to send another. How can one person speak on all the women in Atlanta, when he’s only met a few. Maybe he needs to hang out in church and not in the streets looking for a godly woman. That’s just like saying all men are dogs. Some may be, but not all of them. We have to realize that we attract what we are. He may not be having sex, but he may have some energy that lets off hoe vibes. We have to ask God to search our hearts and cleanse is. It’s easy to say we live for God, but do another behind closed doors. Our mindset can limit us to meeting the one God has for us, bc the packaging may not be exactly what we desire. But if we begin to desire what God desires for us, we can receive the mate he desires for us. Women there are plenty of amazing godly men, ask God for discernment, so you don’t waste your time on the wrong person and you can keep moving until you meet the one meant for you.

Found it interesting that he didn't mention meeting anyone in his own Church / Bible study ... would have liked to hear his experience around that as well. To be fair meeting people around parties / clubs does come with a large number of more " interesting " people 😅. Not to say you can't meet solid people anywhere.

Without knowing him, a woman like me wouldn’t give him a second look simply because of the way he seems to carry himself and speak. If the women think he’s from the streets, that means many good women may be repelled by him.
"We don't have to get a trophy for staying together". This is all truth. Why not end amicably instead of prolonging the eventual? It all speaks of clarity and decisiveness.

I'm a loyal subscriber, but I have been so busy and I am now catching up on the episodes I have missed. This was GOOD! We must have more men with standards, values, and ect who are chasing after God. Men who know God are confident and bold, they have a whole different level of swag because God lives on the inside of them. I wish more men knew God and the magnitude of His Glory. To hear his dating experiences is bananas, but I get it. There are so many good women chasing after God just like him. I pray he finds his wife soon. This episode warms my heart.

I was just talking with the Holy Spirit about how women who show so much of their bodies get all kinds of responses. I said, if you have to do that then those are just temporary pleasurable words from men who have no intention on staying. This just confirms how you dress is what you attract. Agreed just because two people are Christians does not mean it will automatically work out. Does there purpose line up? How is the conflict resolution, the emotional intelligence, is their empathy, morals and values? There is a difference in believing in God and going through the motions verses having a relationship with God and walking in the light.

I agree. I used to follow him on Instagram and I unfollowed because he outwardly expresses his frustration at not being able to find this ideal woman he's looking for. He needs a lot of time at the feet of the cross to humble himself. I also believe that your abstinence or virginity is between you and God, it should not be broadcasted anywhere.

I like his approach saying he ask God initially. He believes you can know within the first week or two. I completely agree. Why get emotional or physically involved? Why waste each other’s time. Some people just don’t have the capacity to walk with you and do life.

Good Christian people ( men & women) finding one another is a real problem. We both seem to entertain the complete opposite. It boggles my mind how that happens.
I love his transparency and it is refreshing to know that there are men with convictions. I know a lot of women are going to watch this and want to be with him. I think he has good values and trusts in God. My observation is that I don't think he trusts himself. He said numerous times in the interview that he believes that God has given him the grace to be a virgin Because he believes he wouldn't be able to control himself. He also said that he has been with good women. I think to say that it is hard to find a wife only sets an atmosphere for him to encounter the women he has been meeting. Sometimes subconsciously we just want to be right. I believe that he is a good person but he just wants to be right. Meeting the women that he says he has met in Atlanta proves that it is hard to find a wife. Also I think he has to dig deep and find out why it never works out when he meets a good woman. I believe he's avoiding commitment because he's afraid that he won't be able to control himself if he were to get married and finally have sex. Not being able to know if he would be sexually satisfied with one woman probably gives him pause. Changing his View of his situation is not the issue. He is a very attractive man and successful so he is a desirable mate. Being an educated man and an analytical thinker he is probably more than likely to overthink. I think he should evaluate why he desires a wife and then manifest her into his life. He can do this by being open-minded to whomever God has for him and not looking for the perfect woman. I pray that he finds his good thing. Blessings and favor to him!

I come from a background where we are led to believe that men cannot be virgins beyond a certain age. It is absolutely amazing to hear Dozie speak as well as read some of these comments. I wish I grew up with these beliefs.

To the women watching this: in order to be a wife, we must first be called. Not by our own understanding (our own mouths), but our true husband will call us wife. (shout-out to Adam). Man is the identifier /caller (shout-out to God for being an example). God allowed Adam to name the animals and the Woman that became his wife. To the men watching this: it's not hard to find a wife. If you are indeed operating as the man God needs you to be, and you are having a hard time finding a wife, then check your environment (mentally, physically, spiritually).
