Alex Lanier is evetything we've ever dreamed of and more over here, in France. He has great talent but most importantly, ecellent mental fortitude and good badminton IQ. I can't wait to see how far he'll go !
Very insightful content 👍 even i, as a french fan following Lanier for years now, learned a lot about him. Indeed we know him for being our biggest prospect. Hope he doesn't crash and burn by putting too much pressure on himself. NB : only thing i wished to see in the video is his relationship to his coach Kestutis Navikas, whom he met in the Lithuanian International you talked about when he won it... at age 16 😆😯
Kestutis is a very good coach. I like that Lanier not play in Danish style. But using his own powerful style, which I like more to watch on slow motion :)))
not related but i’ve always enjoyed new documentaries by ‘tib’ they’re so well made! in such high quality , the pictures , background music etc! excited for more documentaries for other players from “this is badminton”
The information about the junior world championship is wrong. Not only did he lose to Hu in the individual but pretty sure he lost to Farhan in the team competition at the junior world's. Great player, but wild he never won the juniors.
As told in the video, he was coming back from a back injury and the worlds were his first tournament in months. He was lacking some tournament practice but still made it to a medal... pretty good if you ask me.

He indeed causes Victor Axelsen troubles. A promising star is rising. 😊 . Hopefully, this will boost other young Asian players
Great content, hope he can do something like Viktor Axelsen, and inspire badminton to young generations in France

This Gen are so pathetic, easily stunned. Let's see how his performance goes for another 5 years.
All this achievements at 19 are unheard of. You're just salty lol

Another Afridi, 19years my @55
He looks 30yo
He is 19 but doesn’t look 19, no doubt he has talent , but hope he isn’t on the dark side here
Of course he's on dark side why wouldn't he be
What does that mean
@@pythonstinger he thinks alex doped
No doubt he is. But who isn't at this level ?
His surname is pronounced lani-yay.
Judging by the drastic physical change in just a year, I wouldn't be too surprised if it comes out, he's on 💉
Balding at 19 is crazyyyy
In reality... not so much!
He is older I think
@@samuelrivals9372 in reality, it is
@@anshul6168 I don't think so. These Europeans start looking old at a very young age. That's why they want asian wives and hubbiez
