    That's great to know that you can increase your prices without affecting current students.

    Hi Thank you for the video! I have watched so much of your videos while on this preply tutor journey and you explain very well and in simple terms for those of us that are new to the platform. I also introduced alot of your tips from your video for trial lessons and managed to increase my trial lesson conversion. I am very grateful and I don't think you understand how your videos impact other lives! THANK YOU!

      The internet is saturated with American content that doesn't always apply to the rest of the world ;)

    Honestly I don't think that letting students negotiate prices is a good advice. People don't do that with language schools, so they shouldn't do that with tutors either.
    If someone asks you that, my advice is to say "For the amount of work that I put into preparing the classes, I can't keep charging the current amount. What we can do instead is to adjust the duration of the classes so we can keep working together".

    Does this apply for trial lessons? If a student has only booked a trial lesson at the price before increase, will they still see the old price or the new price?

      Good question, they will see the old price. You'll need to contact them individually if you would like to increase their price too

    Do you treat your old students who pay less in the same way than others who play more?

    • @teachercook-e2572
      @teachercook-e2572  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes definitely, I treat all my students the same. The difference in prices they pay never really crosses my mind.

    Hi Alex ! What about students who don't want to pay more? Can you get rid of them?

      Hi there, sorry for the delayed reply. I decided to get rid of this Instagram due to some unfriendly comments. I'm sorry about that
