- The engine went trough full engine rebuild. In the rebuild I changed:
-Cranckchaft
-Piston
-Main bearings
-Balancer shaft bearings
-Necessary gaskets
-Main gear
-Camchain
-And other small stuff

Ive never seen it done that way before. You went through all that trouble and didnt put new valves in? At the very least you sand the exisiting valves and lap them back into the seats?

Hey Bro. I got a question. I have the choice between Husa 650 sumo and a Yamaha WR450 sumo. Mainly I wan't to ride the bike as a weekend bike and sometimes under the week. Which one should I choose? Amd what's the servicing by the Husaberg 650?
Husa 650. No question. The 5 valve Yamaha wr is very reliable but never pass up a husa
I am rebuilding a fe 450 from 2005 but can't get any crankshaft bearings here. Do u know where I can still order them?

They don't have to be berg bearings , you can get the dimensions off them and match them up , ktm or yamaha possibly Honda will stock them 👍

+ViTSi Awesome video and bike man, I have a 2006 FS 650 too :D, how many hours did your engine had before the rebuild? and do you have dual valve springs on it? What was the cause of that breaking piece?
The engine did 200 hours before this build. There were no significant wear anywhere and everything was in tolerances. So all in all it was in good condition. However I did not find any reason why the main gear broke. Maybe it was under some kind of tension? I don't have dual springs right now but was thinking upgrading them in the winter.
Great rebuild! U have luck that camshaft stopped when all 4 valves are closed. This engine is very similar to old KTM LC4 engine (620,625,640,660), only balancer shaft is in different place, and also cylinder sleeve, which is great idea i think, easier/cheaper is changing only cylinder sleeve than whole cylinder

For someone new to motorcycles and wants to learn how to rebuild the engine of an Enduro/Supermoto, what would be the best place to learn ? Are there books for something like this?
Just watch videos.
Like already said, watch videos and use google a lot. Take it slowly and keep good track of your parts to minimize your risk to make mistakes.
Can you tell what might be causing the metallic sheen in the oil of my 650fe?? It’s only just been rebuilt and it’s not clearing even after several oil changes.
Only just been built and 7 oil changes ? , how many hours have you put on it. if you don't mind me asking who rebuilt it ?
My bike has 120hrs on it. I had a mechanic work on it because the big end bearing was starting to fail ( copper sheen in oil). He fitted new crank and bearings and piston.
Now after only 7hrs of lite use I noticed a silver metallic sheen in the oil. There are no metal flakes on the magnetic oil plug. What could it be I wonder.?
@@longzee7259 it could be down to a few things really , what oil are you using ??
Probably just from your piston and rings seating, I'd be worried if it's still like that come next oil change
