@@juliecasey2384 You're right, that's the only way! I actually had gamer as my number one to order! :D But they had a special club kit available for only 2 weeks, so I had to order that one first. i showed a picture in my flosstube#4 of the sandman and just filmed an unpacking ^_^
Oh that's right. I saw that in your video. I didn't see the video until after the last day to order, but that's okay because I have about 50 years worth of stitching to do already. I'm excited about the unpacking though. I'll be watching for it.
@@juliecasey2384 Oh I yes, me too! I will pause the club now and at first I was scared to miss such a cool design but then...we all really have enough stash and filled wishlists xD
@@learevenga I think I would like to do the desert eventually but the first one I want to do is called Rose Lights. It looks like maybe it would be a little bit simpler and cheaper to start with and it's really pretty. Unfortunately you can't buy it as a kit anymore so I'm going to work in kitting it up myself gradually.
I'm so excited to find your video, I just started medievel town, my first chatalaine , I am still trying to gather the glosses, hard to get them during the pandemic. I also found your flicker, did you stitch all of those? Thanks, I will follow you. Funny I work at Ikea!!
I would love to make the Serengeti Chatelaine on black (or very dark) fabric one day. I hope to buy the pattern next month and maybe the fabric also. I hope to buy the DMC threads in September and save up a small amount of money for the beads and silks each month or buy a bit each month. As it happens, I live in the Netherlands, but my German s*cks, which is why I talk in English. Lol
Ohh awesome that you're starting your adventure, too! Yeah Fabric and pattern alone are an investment - and we europeans pay double for dmc :/ English is the way to go - I don't know a single word in dutch and I forgot all about the languages from school :D
Hello Lea: Since I am not a native speaker of English, I didn't understand everything you said. Please may I ask again what kind of fabric you are using for this Chatelaine. Thank you for this demonstration.
Great video and I'm excited to follow your chatelaine journey
First time I’m seeing these. Georgeous . Thank you.
Thank you for sharing, your english is charming
Thank you for this. You have done a wonderful job with this video.
This really makes me want to start mine even more. It should be here this afternoon!!!!! Yours looks amazing. Hurry up and do more!!
omg!! Happy start Julie!! And thank you so much! I got a new Gecko Rouge kit in today though and I'm struggling so hard to resist a start on that T_T
@@learevenga You'll just have to start it and then make a new rotation so you get to all your lovely projects. Is it the Gamer? I love that one.

I'm excited you're doing a Chatelaine. I've got my eye on one. I look forward to seeing your progress.
Hey Joanne, thank you so much! I just watched your second video yesterday! Have you decided on a design? Will it be the desert? :D

Oh that's lovely! I really hope you can find all the flosses. But the designs are really so detailed that it is still looking great even with dmc.

I kitted mine up over 12 months got my silks in France xxx the blues are the ones that stand out in silk rather than the DMC xxx
That's really true. I compared the blues later on and it makes a HUGE difference! I hae all the blue silks now - really worth it, you're right!
Hi Lea, i really enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing your progress on the Chat elaine. You did a great job and your English is perfect!!
Thank you sooooo much Anita!!
