Some advice from someone who’s been renting FOREVER and loves maximalism and bright colours. Its all about balance and reshaping what you already have! For me, I would put a massive frame that focuses on the yellow in the pillows on the wall behind the sofa (keep it simple and make the colour the focal rather than lots of detail) and then it will all tie in together! For the plants, I would put them in a different room as theyre quite bright toned and instead go for more neutrals like pampas grass, thistle, wood etc and then it won’t look too jarring against the muted green wall. And finally, for the table, you could give it a white wash to tone it down / age it so it blends with the floor. But it all takes time, don’t rush it - you’ll be sure to change things a million times over 🤣🫶🏼
