    This is a fun idea, definitely looks good with the wash and gloss too. My favourite was the pool of sludge, that looked fantastic.

    A while back, I had the idea for a set of alternate style Khorne Daemons, where they're basically animated puddles of blood. Maybe with some skulls and such sticking out. My thinking was shambling blobs, painted with some kind of blood technical paint or gloss varnish. But using some kind of melty figures printed in clear resin, then using a red contrast paint, might work as well.

      I have files for 2nd edition bloodletters, if you used blood for the blood god on the bodies and painted all the horns and swords and possibly even the teeth I think that would look awesome!
