In regards to Palmer, Foden or Saka, at this moment in time in my opinion I'd have Palmer first, Saka second, Foden third and here's why. Palmer and Saka have been world class for their clubs (who aren't as good as Man City) and great for their country. Foden has been world class for Man City but bang average at best for England and he has been playing for his country longer than the other two. Also all three have only played for England under Southgate, a horrendous manager, so I don't want to hear any arguments about Foden being held back or that he was playing left wing rather than 10 at the Euros. He has played left wing before so if he's a truly world class player he'd have worked around that but he didn't. At Euro 2024 he genuinely looked like an amateur player whereas Saka and Palmer were heroic. I also think Palmer has the highest ceiling. However, if Foden starts playing amazing for England because of new management, I'll start putting him at least alongside Palmer and Saka as there's honestly not much between them all talent wise, but if Foden doesn't, then I'll continue to think that he has done no more for England than the likes of Jesse Lingard or Dele Alli. We tend to do so much well with players that cost 30-40mill. Just look at Salah, Mane, Diaz, Jota, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Fabinho, Gakpo, Konate, Endo and Firmino.

We tend to do so much well with players that cost 30-40mill. Just look at Salah, Mane, Diaz, Jota, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Fabinho, Gakpo, Konate, Endo and Firmino.

@@erlinghakaku9967 that’s your opinion, but you don’t need multiple seasons to tell whether a player fits in or not. he’s an extremely talented player, but his potential is not maximized in our team. I’ll revise and say I’d keep him as a squad option if things keep going the same way, because he definitely adds depth to our team. but, he’s not by any means a Liverpool #10. The guy is not creative enough at this point in time. He’s also not built to be a winger like some people think, not quite there as a #8 and isn’t strong enough to play in the pivot, in the tackle. i support the club and want the club to win trophies, so ditch the ‘we don’t support players’ talk. if they aren’t good enough for the club, they can sit on the bench or go if they don’t wanna sit down for us. that goes for every single man in our squad.
