I live in Boston and can remember in the days after the bombing people were going out of their way to shake the hands of random police officers, I remember people lining the streets near the bombing site for weeks laying flowers down & just high fiving cops as they stuck their arms out of the cruiser windows as they slowly passed down the street.
It was unlike anything I had ever seen other than the response to police & firefighters in the aftermath of 9/11.
Having been through both of those events, I just don’t understand how we’re now having the police attacked and ambushed..spit on & called racists &fascists... All cops are bastards , cops and the clan go hand in hand... and ask the other crap and nonsense said about the people who when push comes to shove lays their lives on the line for us. All because of a dishonest media that keeps portraying criminals who get shot by police in the line of duty as innocent martyrs.
Mike brown - hands up don’t shoot
Was a lie, he robbed a store, then attacked the officer grabbing his gun.
Breonna Taylor was shot while she laid in her bed, police conducted a warrant on the wrong address-- nope another lie.
She was shot in her hallway, the warrant was for the right house, & her drug dealing new boyfriend initiated the gun fire because he thought it was her ex drug dealing boyfriend pounding on the front door, not the cops.
    Jussie Smollet - media lied
    Bubba Wallace media lies
Covington Catholic students - media lied
George Floyd would’ve looked different if we knew he had asked to be placed on the ground because he didn’t wanna be in the back of the cruiser- probably because he just swallowed his drugs causing him to overdose- as terrible as that scene looked to the untrained eye, that officer followed all protocols from their training manual to a T
Sad situation we are going through, and every generation is being taught to respect police less and less.
Imagine the impact a lebron James would have if he came out and pleaded with young black men to stop resisting arrest & fight it in court not in the streets cuz you will always lose in the streets, instead of him coming out and saying that “Black men are being hunted down by police in this country”
Which mindset do you think would better suit the young black men who keep finding themselves in these situations?
Don’t resist, get a lawyer & fight it in court.
    Or
Resist arrest, rise up & fight back ?
