    I love that you all are able to grow SO much food. A beautiful variety of foods without acres of land. I'm so glad you share what's possible.

    new sub here. I have been bingeing your videos from the start. What i love about your channel is your abiility to maximize your small backyard space, the varieties of foods you can growm not forgetting the organic fertilizers/nutrients.. What is more amazing is your ability to still grow foods during the harsh winter conditions. This just proves you don't need acres and acres of lands to be self sufficient

      Thank very much for the kind words and noticing that you don't need acres of land to start growing. We truly believe you can grow wherever you are, no matter the size or space you have💚

    Love your gardening methods, and your garden is awesome! Can you explain those side extended parts to hold the sides up, that looks awesome! Thank you for sharing, happy gardening for the new season to come!

      Thank you so much. Did you mean the ones that hold up the hoops for the row cover? If it is, we used a 1" cable strap and drilled it to the side of the bed. This fits and hold an inch pex pipe

    I just love watching your videos. Along with learning so much I find them so peaceful.
    I need to spend more time in spacing my seeds thinning is so tedious. I'm fortunate with some plants like peppers which grow as perennials where I live.

    Wow, I’m impressed! Both you and the garlic are off to an amazing start, even with all the rain, cloudy skies, wind and cool nights we’ve been having, we even got some flurries for a bit this morning. I think my garlic is going to be another dud again this year. No action on them at all. Everyone says how easy it is to grow garlic yet for me it’s a huge struggle. 😂❤🇨🇦

    • @plantedinthegarden
      @plantedinthegarden  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thank you, yes, the weather has been all over the place from warm, to rain, to flurries😂.
      What variety of garlic are you growing? I find that the ones I get from garlic growers give the best result. You may find those in farmers market and or direct from farms. They usually start selling garlic bulbs around August-September.

      @@plantedinthegarden I usually order from a place in Vancouver and the varieties I’ve tried are Music, Porcelain and German Red but I’ve also tried the supermarket ones and those from local big box stores with hardly any luck from any of them especially if fall planted. Last year I tried spring planting for the first time and got some very small heads that I then replanted in the fall hoping they’d produce this season but I’m not confident anything is coming. I have much better luck with onions.

    Do you have a video that shows how you designed the space originally? Or did you all plan as you went? Also, is there a video that shows how you created the fence garden space. I want to do this without impacting my fence. 😊 thanks for the share.

      We did post a bunch of random tours of our videos on our garden space. We did also post a shorter video on how we built and designed our garden beds. We also posted videos on how we plant multiple plants in one bed throughout the season. Hmm... what fence garden space are you talking about?

    This is my favorite video for the new season. Providing step by step, visual instructions to setting up the early crop beds is so useful. I will be working on my garden strong this week and you have given me great ideas.
    I will definitely be repeating this video multiple times in the next few weeks.

    What size of PEX are you using and where did you get the metal clips? Ive got some 1/2" pex and 1/2" metal clips from homedepot that look very similar to yours but dont seem to fit as snug as shown in your video. Thanks in advance for info!
