    Season 4 Episode 12 End Times: Ordering his family to take advantage of the protection the DEA is giving Hank (Dean Norris), Walt (Bryan Cranston) awaits whatever is in store for him. Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
    Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

    since after all they wouldn't hesitate to kill a child. Gus did have Andrea's brother killed.

    Walt was lowkey ready to die in this scene

  • @josephnelson8522
    @josephnelson8522 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    What's brilliant to me about this scene is that Walt wins either way. If Jesse would have pulled the trigger, Walt would have died, Brock would have recovered, and Jesse would have spent the rest of his life haunted that he killed "an innocent man". Walt would have been remembered as an innocent victim to both Jesse and his family. For Jesse, he would constantly remember Walt as someone who died because of his "stupidity". For his family, Walt would have died an innocent victim of the crossfire between the cartel hunt and Hank, killed by Jesse Pinkman in revenge for what Hank did to him (if they ever found out it was Jesse). So, yeah, Walt wins either way. I honestly kind of think Walt was hoping Jesse would pull the trigger.
