Nice video...I think its great that people are testing out the "regular versions" of these cars as people can get so caught up in the hype of the performance and plaid versions you end up with 1000 videos all showing you the same thing. All of these cars are from quick to down right insane. None are "slow" per say. Its nice to get good real world acceleration info on all the models. So thanks for this

I can never get over that acceleration sound. Like a little plane taking off. 😁

The RWD does not disappoint! Super quick and fun to drove. My dad has a 2020 model 3 SR+ RWD. I believe it’s 0-60 is rated at 5.3 seconds which slightly quicker than the current LFP RWD since it has a sightly more powerful less efficient motor. I’m sure the difference isn’t noticeable though.

It’s significantly quicker then the new LFP rwd. My 2020 model 3 standard plus with the 990 motor has a 5.1 0 to 60, most standard plus get 5.3 but either way it’s a .8-1 second difference.

My 2021 standard range plus (not LFP) is advertised as 5.3 s 0-60 but in practice can achieve 5.0 s 0-60 with fresh Michelin all-season tires. 1 second is a major difference in feel and perception and I don't think I'd get an LFP when I get my second Tesla.

Tesla limits the power output from a standstill on the latest RWD models. They’re capable of going faster but they don’t want it to cut into the more expensive Long Range AWD model’s sales. As a consequence though it feels much faster accelerating if you’re starting from 20+ mph.

@@SuperAwesomeWeirdGuy That sucks so bad... the whole epitome of an electric motor is full instant torque / power. Why limit that and imitate an ice car? I was thinking of getting this car but not anymore... thinking of the Volvo EX30 now, it is not as good as the tesla in some points but atleast it provides the damn acceleration.

@@KhataarFelMataarhonestly u should test drive a m3 sr b4 u decide. The 0-60 is more then enough to pass most cars off the light and the 20-70mph acceleration feels ridiculous, like u cant move ur head.

IDK what you are talking about, if the car can’t handle being floored twice than it wasn’t designed correctly.
