Creating a programmable tracked robot is a fascinating project that combines mechanical engineering, electronics, and programming. In this comprehensive guide, we will walk you through the process of building a versatile tracked robot using the YP100 Metal Tracked Robot Tank Chassis, CNC Shield V3, two A4988 Stepper Motor Drivers, two NEMA 17 stepper motors, an HC-05 Bluetooth module, a 3S LiPo battery, and an Arduino Uno. To power the Arduino Uno, we'll also use a step-down buck converter to lower the voltage from 12V to 8V. This project is not only a fun and educational endeavor but also a great introduction to robotics and automation.
