He struggled against the Warriors in the first few games. Dlo was better, which is why they started GP2 to stop him. Lakers are dangerous because you have no idea who their 3rd best player will be in any given game, quarter, or series. We just saw the Lonnie Walker game. We saw the Rui game against the Grizzlies. When Austin is on, he is their x factor tho.

I think it is going to be difficult that team stay together. There will be no problem with AR and may be Russell, but Lonnie Walker... i think Lakers won't offer him what he thinks he deserves and will walk away. Same for Hachimura, they both will be offered great deals someplace else.

If LeBron gets a 5th ring after passing Kareem for number 1, injuring his foot, and being 2-10 to start the year.. By putting out the 2nd seed with the DPOY, the defending champion in warriors, the team with the MVP Jokic, and potentially facing the Celtics and breaking that historic championship tie, this will be one of his greatest seasons of all time.

Reaves will eventually (maybe 2 years) develop into a player good enough to call this a big 3. Only his first playoffs. Dennis / Vando / Rui will remain as the defensive core/bench. DLo might have to leave if he really wants the bag. I'd love for him to stay and I'm sure he wants to but his pricetag is very high compared to the other players. Reaves is a 100% lock for LA and will prob bag 18-21 mil, deservedly so.

I just want to mention Rob Pelinka. This was Kobe Bryant's right hand/friend. At first no one wanted him except Jeannie. Was ragged on and then got AD. Put that '20 championship team together and wanted his "respect". Then that team broke apart, which i never understood. Got Westbrook, maybe out of his hands. Gave this team time to work while everyone called for his head, never worked. Kept AD when even I wanted him gone along with Brook. Under more pressure then anyone can even imagine, laker fans, lebron talking "still win on a team", analysts etc. somehow moves Brook, Beverly, Thomas Bryant who everybody questioned before knowing he asked out, Horton-Tucker who was still around because laker fans wanted to keep him, and a couple others for perfect, younger, peices. New team from game 1 was sooooo much better and continued getting better and now on the brink of the finals. Bravo Rob best gm since he's held that position. Go Lakers
