Well he was already distrusting the Jedi Order due to them pandering to corrupt politicans and bureaucrats. Sidious could have influenced him to switch sides or curse him with dark side objects in his apartment.

This is wrong because Dooku would not turn to the dark side if his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn were alive. But still great work.
And they should've added Obi-Wan rushing out to Qui-Gon's corpse but yeah, this is great work!
Qui-Gon's death was only the final nail in the coffin for Dooku. He would've probably left the Jedi Order and/or joined the Sith somehow.
