Love your loyalty and enthusiasm. Staying up late. Wearing the hat and shirt. 🙂 This album is unreal so far. Kudos to the video team to organize the cameras and drones and get the video done in a week. I personally lean towards melodic metal, and already loved everything The Warning did previously, but now they're veering more and more towards a metal sound, but still keeping the catchy melodies and choruses. Love it. Amazing songwriting, musicianship, showmanship, and creativity. Can't praise them enough.
I made the mistake of watching the premiere last night at midnight. I was so pumped afterward that it took hours to fall asleep! I was going to list all the things about the song I liked - the grungy guitar, killer drum fills, nasty outro, etc - then I realized I'd basically listed every part of the song. Fantastic track.

As to what it's about? Well my guess, the old The Warning favourite, obsession: "The way you hurt me is never enough, This addiction’s hard to give up" And some pretty explicit lines as well: "feels like your nails down my back." They are definitely all growed up now.

They just keep getting better and better in the studio and on stage. What they REALLY need is for every rock station in the USA to play their music. What's on the radio around here is safe mediocre crap. The American radio audience needs The Warning.

And they have shown that it's perfectly normal and ok for young girls to have male role models, and vice versa, of course. Muse, Metallica, and Foo Fighters are examples of male bands that have been, and still are, great inspirations for DPA, and those bands have treated them with nothing but respect. If I remember correctly (I don't remember her exact words), Dany once said in an interview something along the lines of "the gender of the people on stage doesn't matter, what matters is having fun", when the (female) interviewer of course brought up their gender, as if it matters. Did I mention that they're intelligent? My already huge respect for Dany as a person went through the roof. But enough of that, let's talk about the reason we're all here, this song! I like S!CK, I love Hell You Call A Dream, and I ADORE Automatic Sun! Everything about it is cool, or should I say hot ☀The chorus kinda reminds me of something, can't put my finger on it though. The guitar sounds amazing, as does Dany's voice. It's a bit on the shorter side, as most of their songs, it would be interesting to hear them do a 6+ minutes long prog rock song at some point, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see, if they don't feel like it, they shouldn't do it, of course.
