My favorite part about Khamzat is that he talks so soft in every interview then when he hits the cage is “WOOOOOO I KILL EVERYBODY EVERYBODY DIES” it makes his character so much more intimidating

By far my favorite fighter in the game right now. Dude jost has an aura about him that strikes fear into opponents. He reminds me of villains in marvel/dc movies. Going to be an awesome fight, because Usman is an absolute warrior.
Dude is terrifying. Props to Usman for taking the fight. Watching the clip of Burns connecting and almost spinning Khamzats head off his shoulders and not going to sleep is nuts.
plus his power seems to hit different at 185. I know everyone doesnt rate the GM3 win but he fought at 185 after that and his chin didnt look anywhere near as shot has Khamzat made it look.

Most people don't even get why he did kind of badly in the Burns fight.
He WANTED a show fight, a WAR!
He had 4-5 fights in the UFC at that point and ALL of them end in round 1 almost IMMEDIATELY.
He felt that Burns was a good "dance" partner, and he felt that if there was ever a time to have a war to FEEL what that is like and test himself in a war before a championship fight, THIS was the fight.
That said of course he wanted to KO burns.
But people don't understand that Khamzat did bad against Burns for purely mental mindset reasons 😐
His mentality with the fight was bad.

The doctors warned the ufc that hes in danger n the fight may not go ahead because he wont be medically cleared.. dana then decided to tell khamzat keep the weight up we'll match u with holland instead.. khamzat was closer to the WW limit but by weigh ins with the news that he was fighting Holland already in place he already been drinking water n stopped sauna work.. he even tries to explain after the fight but no1 listened.

You could tell when he got on the scale at 178 something was up. You could see in his eyes. He wasn’t drained, he wasn’t sucked down. He kind of just went 🤷♂️
The reason he showed up at 178 was because they stopped him from continuing to cut weight during the night. So he already knew he wasn’t gonna make weight when he stepped on the scale and I‘m sure he had already rehydrated at that point. If he kept trying he probably only would’ve missed by 2-3 lbs.

Unless he misspoke that sounds like the UFC, his agent or someone wanted him to miss weight to create drama, or to fix the matchups because Diaz-Ferguson was a lot more appropriate fight for Diaz to retire on.

The first loss is never a big thing in my opinion. Its how the fighter comes back after the loss. Just look at Volk how he took the Islam loss, or back in the day McGregor against Diaz, who was considered an easy win for Conor. Or even Gaethje who went on a 2 fight losing streak after being undefeated. If you come back strong it doesnt matter. Lets say Khamzat loses this one, comes back to beat Costa, Whittaker, Cannonier, or Dricus Du Plessis he is right back.

Can’t believe I’m rooting for The Nigerian Nightmare. I guess there is a first time for everything . I think Usman knows something we don’t know. He lobbied the UFC for this fight and I believe he was training this whole time. The Costa Khamzat fight just felt like it wasn’t going to happen from the beginning. We are also hearing Khamzat say again things leading us to believe he was instructed to miss weight against Diaz. Which would mean the UFC creates situations on a WWE level in theatrics except the actual fight is real. For all we know Usman and Volk new from the get go this was going to happen

@FRLLI. Grappling is different to submissions. Khamzat isnt a black belt in submissions. He is a great wrestler so he could take down burns easily but burns could have caught him in a submission.
@@waqmanimeanime my main pic is me brother... I know the difference in different forms of grappling. Khamzat record is 12 - 0 with 6 Kos and 5 submission victories and 1 decision. So I guess my question to you would be how do you figure that he went into that burns fight concerned about Gilbert's submissions?? And then seeing how Gilbert's stand-up did against Chimaev when Usman broke Gilbert in the stand up. I think Chimaev is going to be in for a really long night no matter where the fight takes place. Burns has 28 fights with 9 wins by sub. Chimaev has a higher finishing rate with submissions over Gilbert also.
@FRLLI. Just because burns doesnt submit doesnt mean he cant. Usman i dont believe has the level of submission which is why he didnt take burns to thr ground either. We can see on Saturday, i think Khamzat will wrestle and if he can keep usman down he wins.
