Way before Iceland I started watching your inspirational adventures and renovations , so so awesome. Really enjoyed this relaxing ,even though very full on and beautiful experiences you enjoyed in Iceland .It was special , our son and two friends from Aus transversed Iceland in kayaks ,hiking,getting very very cold,laughing heaps and achieving their young men goals a few years back. You both have been working so hard on your home, so glad you were able to get away to travel and really chill for a week in Iceland. It's such a beautiful country with stark landscapes and interesting areas to visit. The food you ate looked so good and beautifully presented on your plates. I'm looking forward to seeing what type of devices you'll use for the hydropower water wheel, a big plus for saving on electrical power. I know someone that alternates with hydropower in the rainy months and solar panel power the rest of the year. They are totally off grid and do use propane for cooking and generator for wash machine/dryer usage.
Sometimes when we have been away some of our cats sulk for a short while- they ignore you for an hour to teach you a lesson and then want so many cuddles to make up. We only have one cat now and he hates us being away. We arrived back last week from a week's holiday and not only did he sleep on the bed but during the night wriggled up and put his head on the pillow and laid his face next to my cheek, but that still wasn't close enough so he wrapped himself around my head, all the while purring- not exactly what I needed as we didn't arrive home until 3 a.m. but I love him dearly. Great video.

I can't go into caves. I went into Carlsbad caverns and they had to wheel me in a wheel chair and back to the top. My head felt like it was going to implode. 😕
