Your videos today were awesome!! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer so many questions. You mentioned something when you were talking about hair loss... Dry Shampoo or some product to help cover up bald spots?? I hit the rewind and tried listening again, but I couldn't make our what you were saying. Again, thank you for taking the time to check in and sharing your experience. I hope I'm add successful as you've been. 💖
Thanks so much for the nice comment! I use a tinted dry shampoo when I am going out and about. I use AG Brunette Dry Shampoo. It's available online and at Ulta. I wasn't wearing it in today's videos, but it definitely fills in the thin spots and boosts confidence while you wait for hair to regrow. Glad you got something good from the videos - take care, you are going to do great!
Happy to see you back! I was beginning to worry, it feels like I know you all from your videos. I had my Surgery end of June this year so it is nice to have a DS patient who is 1 year ahead of me (a look it the future...lol). I look forward to your recipes. it feels like I eat the same things over and over.
Thanks Alicia, good to be back. :) I hope things have gone well for you since surgery, and please feel free to message me if you have any DS questions you think I might be able to help with. Can't have too many WLS friends. Take care!
Thanks for coming back to make more videos, I have really missed them. I have relyed on wls youtubers for knowledge, inspiration and feeling of community, since I made the decision back in March to change my course in life through wls. You have been one of my favorites and you may not realize what an important role you play to the wls community so I wanted to voice this. Thank you for sharing with us.
Thanks very much! It is good to know that making videos is helpful to folks, even when I am close to goal. I am so glad you like my videos, and I promise to keep making them every so often. Take care and good luck with your wls journey!
Omg I miss seeing you! Does anyone know where Amy is? Would love to hear how your health is and if you ever got plastics? Your videos have been a great resource!! Xoxo
Watched all three! Loved them all and can't get enough of your updates 🤗 I'm curious to know how much differently we eat. I know we had different surgeries but from your videos we eat mostly the same- maybe I eat a bit lower carbs. Peace love and Happy New Year to you!
Hi my dear Amy it's so nice to see you again I really miss you. You look amazing. I have some tips for the hair grow look at this page ginger really works. stylesatlife.com/articles/ginger-for-hair-growth/ and also I started dying my hair with brown henna you mix it with egg yolks and apply to your hair. The lighter I color my hair it would look thinner, so that's why I chose brown. Tomorrow is my 1 year after my WLS 76lbs lost yeah and got rid of all the sickness, but it's been quite of a ride , I had 3 more surgeries after to fix some hernias my last surgery, was just 2 weeks ago my gall bladder. it die a year ago due to my diabetes; the irony is that after 2 surgeries, 2 cat scans, several blood works and intensive pain, they never noticed that it was laying there death and full of tumours. Oh well thanks to a good surgeon I still alive and positive now as well trying to get the extra skin remove as it has become painful to wear my prosthetic and as you mention with clothes selection still the feeling of not finding the right one . I hope to see more of your videos; you help me to keep positive. Thank you my beautiful friend.
Hi Mariel! Thanks for the hair tips, I always appreciate those. Congrats on the fantastic weight loss, and I am so glad you are feeling better! I am glad they were able to get rid of that gall bladder. Happiness and good health to you, my friend.
