- Good day. My Xiaomi Roborock S55 robot vacuum cleaner was purchased at the end of 2019.
It still serves faithfully!
Here is the cleaning history of my robot vacuum cleaner, during the entire period of use it cleaned 32,000 m2, spent 549 hours cleaning, the number of cleanings was 1,559.
It still works great, in the last year or two, error 10 appeared on the Xiaomi Roborock S55 robot vacuum cleaner when cleaning the room with the robot vacuum cleaner, especially in turbo mode.
Error 10 means that you need to replace or clean the filter.
It can also indicate other problems with the robot vacuum cleaner, it can be a turbine, a pressure sensor, and so on, let's start with the simple.
When replacing the HEPA filter in the dust container with a new one, error 10 appears again after a couple of days. Especially if you turn on the turbo cleaning mode.
This tells us that the problem is not in the HEPA filter, which is installed in the dust container.

After the error 10 warning, the robot vacuum cleaner reduces the suction power and continues to perform the task.
To clean the turbine and filter in the Xiaomi Roborock S55 robot vacuum cleaner, you need to disassemble it almost completely, not everyone will dare to do such a repair.
Xiaomi engineers could have foreseen this and made quick access to the turbine and filter.
I decided to go the other way, start with minimal costs.
If the problem is only in the clogged filter, and not in other components, you can solve the problem much easier and without disassembling the robot vacuum cleaner.

For this we need another vacuum cleaner or compressor. It's easier with a compressor, but not everyone has one.
Let's use another vacuum cleaner.
Take the dust container out of the robot vacuum cleaner.
Connect the blow-out hose to the vacuum cleaner and blow the robot vacuum cleaner in the opposite direction through the air outlet grille from the robot vacuum cleaner.
Blow for one or two minutes, moving the vacuum cleaner hose along the slots on the body, this will be enough.
Then move the hose in the vacuum cleaner to retraction and go through the compartment where the dust collector container is installed. These actions can be repeated a couple of times, it will not make things worse.
This blowing is enough for me for a year.
I blew my robot vacuum cleaner twice when error 10 appeared, the error disappears and does not appear even in turbo mode.
The robot vacuum cleaner works fine.
This method can be applied to other robot vacuum cleaners.
