You are absolutely right Prof. This is a sea change. Similar revolution by the youths took place in France in 1968. Students rose against the national hero and liberator, general de Gaulle after 7 years in power. General de Gaulle ran away to a French military camp in Germany incognito without saying were he was and the nation panicked. The 1968 youth revolution changed everything as you said the Gen-Z will do in Kenya. The 1968 youth revolution brought sexual liberation as we know it now, the dress code, no more ties and suits everybody wore casual clothes and baggy outfits. Women liberation. Respect for parents and authority went through the windows. Kids became friends with parents with no requirement for respect. Same with teachers. Some catch words became famous like "It's forbidden to forbid". The new way of life spread all over Europe.
