The reason they were following the family was because they were doing a documentary about the family being on welfare. That's what the original documentary was about! That is the reason they had the footage. People are so ridiculous. Do your research! That is why this was so fascinating. I love how people make comments and know nothing about the truth. Me and my sister was there when she was taking. the police did not put our report in the papers at the time because we were little black kids back then. The guy had black ford truck with tented windows he was in his 20s at the time and he was a white man he had a big confederated flag tattoo on his neck but they never put that in there and he had on shades. We were on our bikes and the old guy told us the run and he’d call the police. Right there in Arlington tx.

What broke my heart was her brother Ricky blaming himself. If only he had made her come home or if he had stayed with her. But he was only 5. And he might have been taken also. Honestly! How can you hurt a child.

The crew recording her was there months before her disappearance, recording for a documentary. She just happened to be the same girl who was chosen to be abducted months later. It was purely coincidence.
