I remember using this restroom back in the 1983-84 school year just before my weekly shift on the air. I always felt nervous and somewhat nauseous just before going on the air when I would enter the restroom. The KCPR studios were right across the hall from this restroom back then on the second floor of the Graphic Arts building. Today, the station facilities have moved to a much larger and more state-of-the-art studios on the other side of the building on third floor if I remember correctly. I think Weird Al recorded the song sitting on the floor in front of the urinals. The door to the restroom still makes the same squeaking sound at the time this video was recorded.
Maybe it's changed in the eight years since this video was released, but... WHY ON GOD'S BLUE EARTH IS THERE NO PLAQUE COMMEMORATING THE HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS SACRED AND HOLY SHRINE!?!?!?!

I actually had the opportunity to ask him that recently! He said he wasn't in a stall, just kinda between the urinals.
