It was hard had to let go of my entire family because they were toxic , I am now alone , but I realized I was always alone even when I had them I now have peace and Gods grace 🙏🏼

Daniel Fortes and doesn’t rev Ike reference the scripture? I say this because he actually references James Allen in many of his sermons when he has said this before .. they both take it a step further in their teachings than just Proverbs... I’m aware it’s in the Bible 🤦🏽♀️

That is simply amazing. Reverend Ike has inspired me in many ways, however I haven't been able to translate that into anything tangible as of yet. The belief is there, but I guess, there is a missing piece to the puzzle. I'd be interested in hearing more about your journey using positive thinking.

When he said God wants you to have Luxuries and not just get by, the tears came. I'm still unpacking why that hit my heart so intensely. I do know that I have struggled and have come a long way. And I have big Dreams and Goals that scare me sometimes, like: Who am I to think I can...(you know what I mean). God wants me to FLOURISH! He wants you to FLOURISH. The Ocean analogy was perfect! Rev. Ike was- no- IS such blessing. He is still Flourishing while he now rests because of people who are still benefiting from his teachings. How about that?

I love myself. I had to let go of anyone and anythings that want to take my energy away . That means family , friends. You name it. It had to go. I got tired of people draining all of my energy. It might be a bit lonely up here. But im much more happier. Thats just the short version.

Rev Ike, blows my mind every time i listen to him, oh how i wish to have met him while he was alive , i remember my grandmother would listen to him on the radio and watch him on T.V. that was over 40 years ago where alot people really didnt get his message because they were of the old time religion . But 6months ago i started listening to him after not hearing him in many years and I havent stop, i even had a dream about him ., i wont give the details all i will say is my life has changed for the better.

Why when one adds religion and prosperity they are false and of the evil but if mentioning religion and suffrage it is the HOLY GRAIL of the only way to being close to Christ and God?
Because they believe the physical and spiritual are polar opposites. This is shown in the 5-pointed star representative of the 5-wounds of Christ and also as the 4 elements of the material (earth, water, air, fire), + spirit (the 5th element). So the 5th element on top signifies spirit over matter (material), while the inverted satanic star signifies material over spirit. This is also a resonant teaching in Eastern religions such as the Tao or Buddha where princes have renounced their wealth and status to seek spiritual oneness.
And so it appears this has become the (perhaps false) doctrine of the church to teach poverty as the equivalence to closeness to God. Personally I think it has been taught this way to keep the masses poor and hide knowledge in a book most would never read & study on their own.

Lots of truth here I know some can't handle it, it feels good to have lots of money and give to others. Buying a car for somebody else is very satisfying but when your broke your religious and fight God's plan for increase it's all Bible nothing with wrong prosperity preaching. One day I told my brother I'm going to be a millionaire he got angry and said stop thinking about money. Till this day he's broke he even borrows money from my mom. Every believer SHOULD BE PROSPEROUS. When a believer is broke he gives God a bad image to others and we pray for them to get saved but they see us not being productive.
Facts! They're not true believers. You will know them by their fruits. It's a journey of discovery one has to make on their own.
