I can't believe that after all these years, they still can't put more than 6 wrestlers in the ring at the same time. If sports games can have 22 or 10 players on the field or court at the same time why can't they do it for wrestling? Its stupid that u gotta wait 3-4 minutes for an elimination to happen, so u get down to 5 guys, so the 6th one can appear. -- Ive been out of the loop when it comes to video games nowadays, so maybe theres a wrestling game that has more wrestlers in the ring at the same time that I'm unaware of. The last one I played was at least 7 years ago. And to be honest, there doesn't seem like there's a big improvement with a lot of things. -- The game itself looks aesthetically pleasing, but the announcing is brutal. -- Thanks for the upload :-)
I agree hopefully now that it's 2k they'll do a major revamp of the game, I mean you look at what they did with NBA 2K14. I really hope 2K15 is completely revamped.
The need to focus more on the realism and less on the number of polygons in each character. There have been a few games which allowed for 8 player - I think the Sega Saturn had one with 9 even. Granted there aren't many matches where there's more than 6 wrestlers taking part, but upping the number would allow for interferences - imagine you could have 9 on screen, you could be having a 3v3 match in the Story Mode, and you've got a grudge against another group - they could still interfere with that match, rather than having some crappy cut-scene before or after.

The action and AI is way better than the PS2 games. The Rumble events in those games were pretty damn predictable. The early entrants had no chance of winning, and it was usually #28-30 who won. The CP would constantly throw each other over the top rope and keep kicking until they were gone. In simple terms: The developers nailed it almost 100% on making an authentic Royal Rumble match.

I'm waiting for 2k15 for the xbox one. I hope they make the characters move more smooth and realistic. It's next gen systems they better move better. Also the characters should look better too. Can't wait for a trailer.

WHY there are no special moves? :( like rock bottom or A.I.. I only see Choke Slam. And WHY there are maximum of 6 players in Royal Rumble ring?! :(

Though I will say both Kane and Jericho are way overdue for a Royal Rumble win. Think about it. John Cena has won two Royal Rumbles. Kane and Jericho have both won zero. That's just not right.

My major complaint: The camera angle. I like the old SmackDown! games more where the hard camera view has the entry ramp in the background so you can see the guys entrances.

So the thing I am wondering is I've heard about this Community Creator where you can download arenas and wrestlers made by the community (no-brainer), so can you download content straight from your console or do you have to get it from a website then transfer it?So if anybody could assist me with info on it I'd really appreciate it.
Curt Hennig is one of the best and most talented wrestlers the WWE and WCW ever had, he's a great Intercontinental Champion. Scott Steiner is part of a legendary tag team, that conquered all titles from Japan to America. So yes they are both legends and most certainly deserve to be in the Rumble.
Mike Bettencourt Curt Hennig is an awesome wrestler I agree, hes actually one of my favorites of all time. While many see Steiner Brothers as a legendary tag team....I dont...sure they were big for a few years in NWA and Japan but their WWE run and Steiners embarrassing Big Poppa Pump gimmick were total garbage and a dedicated talented guy like Mick Foley who could wrestle as well as talk on the mic really is way above Scott Steiner and that Foley was world champion (Not counting lame Vince Russo giving Steiner the belt when WCW was folding lol) So yeah Curt Hennig I am fine with even though Mick should be in before him as well, but Scott Steiner? Dont see him being legendary at all , but either way like your videos and keep up the good work
Tommy Fuller I understand and I agree that Steiner since he broke up and became a singles wrestler wasn't that awesome. But in terms of tag team accomplishments I'd argue that only the Road Warriors surpass The Steiner Brothers.
Great video, finally got this game a couple days ago and played through the Mania' mode which was pretty spot on. Probably 10 or so matches I would've included myself, maybe made the overall experience better. This video was a great upload but I wish like Curt Henning had his Mr Perfect theme, I know not your fault as it wasn't in the game. Another thing that I just can't get over is how awful the commentary is with this game. Even WWE 13 they wouldn't repeat things so much but Lawler must've said that 'Royal rumble..20 years something new' phrase just way too much and sometimes almost back to back and eliminations sometimes weren't called. Again not your fault. I love the video, awesome picks for the rumble match, an awesome who is who of the WWE.
LOL When it got down to the final 5 my first thought was,"Anyone but Bret Hart." And I don't even dislike Bret hart like that. I just for some reason didn't want him to when. Oh,well!Haha
hopefully with WWE2k15 coming to PS4 and Xbox One we'll be able to have more than 6 people in the ring, and maybe even have 5 on 5 survivor series matches

I think Daniel Bryan deserves to be in as a superstar. He was in the ruthless aggression era. He had a totally different look back in those days.
When you have an all AI match, it's better to make the difficulty the hardest so that it's more exiting and they even seem more smarter. Just a tip.

Yes you can control the chosen superstar, if it gets eliminated the Rumble continues normally and I believe you can pick another representative.

...in all honesty, to me, Undertaker is and always will be the greatest of all time. Though I will say both Kane and Jericho are way overdue for a Royal Rumble win. Think about it. John Cena has won two Royal Rumbles. Kane and Jericho have both won zero. That's just not right.

So I have not played wwe 2k14 yet but I am thinking about getting it (based on all the bad reviews for old-gen 2k15). So the thing I am wondering is I've heard about this Community Creator where you can download arenas and wrestlers made by the community (no-brainer), so can you download content straight from your console or do you have to get it from a website then transfer it?So if anybody could assist me with info on it I'd really appreciate it.

Curt Hennig is one of the best and most talented wrestlers the WWE and WCW ever had, he's a great Intercontinental Champion. Scott Steiner is part of a legendary tag team, that conquered all titles from Japan to America. So yes they are both legends and most certainly deserve to be in the Rumble.

Curt Hennig is an awesome wrestler I agree, hes actually one of my favorites of all time. While many see Steiner Brothers as a legendary tag team....I dont...sure they were big for a few years in NWA and Japan but their WWE run and Steiners embarrassing Big Poppa Pump gimmick were total garbage and a dedicated talented guy like Mick Foley who could wrestle as well as talk on the mic really is way above Scott Steiner and that Foley was world champion (Not counting lame Vince Russo giving Steiner the belt when WCW was folding lol) So yeah Curt Hennig I am fine with even though Mick should be in before him as well, but Scott Steiner? Dont see him being legendary at all

I understand and I agree that Steiner since he broke up and became a singles wrestler wasn't that awesome. But in terms of tag team accomplishments I'd argue that only the Road Warriors surpass The Steiner Brothers.

Great video, finally got this game a couple days ago and played through the Mania' mode which was pretty spot on. Probably 10 or so matches I would've included myself, maybe made the overall experience better. This video was a great upload but I wish like Curt Henning had his Mr Perfect theme, I know not your fault as it wasn't in the game. Another thing that I just can't get over is how awful the commentary is with this game. Even WWE 13 they wouldn't repeat things so much but Lawler must've said that 'Royal rumble..20 years something new' phrase just way too much and sometimes almost back to back and eliminations sometimes weren't called. Again not your fault. I love the video, awesome picks for the rumble match, an awesome who is who of the WWE.
