The first one is one of my favorite scenes in all of survivor. The development between Jay and Adam was amazing to watch, and as soon as I watched this I knew one of them would win
Cydney’s elimination absolutely breaks my heart. Both for her because she obviously needed the money but also for Aubrey, who was obviously genuinely upset at having been partially the reason why she had to leave.
Oh my God those first two guys talking about their mom's is sincerely so heartbreaking. I had a lump in my throat. It's just so sincere and they are so open and almost unaware of the camera. I think I might have to watch that season now.
taj’s moment gets me every time. the way she freaks out and then goes to exile island in order for everyone else to have their loved ones is amazing. probably one of the only moments that i get emotional about in survivor.
Adam’s first confessional about his mom was the turning point in how I viewed him. The thought of losing my Mom is terrifying and even though it will happen some day, it is the one thing I feel I am not strong enough to cope with.
I feel the same way. I have deep depression and I'm under the care of a psychiatrist. Often the question of if I'm suicidal comes up. I always say as long as my mother is alive, there's no worries. If she dies before me, I don't know if I can continue. She's my last family member and the only person that I have that loves me unconditionally.
I don't like Kat as a survivor personality. But her speech at the final tribal was so honest and it was her raw emotion that made me feel for her. But she didn't keep the attention on herself, she gave the contestants the best advice in terms of voting. But also how you should live your life, I had such anger in my heart. It didn't hurt the person that destroyed me, it hurt me. I've let go of most of my anger but I hate how much time was wasted on this negative emotion.
Me either. My elderly mother lives with me. She constantly apologizes for several inconveniences that I have to put up with. I always tell her that I'd rather be inconvenienced than be without you.
@@cryosteam3944 ok then you go starve yourself for 39 days while having to compete in challenges or else you will not eat anything but rice or something
That family video from that Auction... Teared me up. She put herself to exile island with his relative to let everyone else have one family member back with them back at camp. :(
kat’s gameplay wasn’t the best, but she clearly is someone with a good heart, and I mean it’s survivor, I can’t blame her for being upset. her speech was so genuine
I love Cydney and lets all b real here she was the best player on that season more than Michelle and Abury...they had to go to her on who needs to go and it's really sad that she will never ever get the credit
I've been binging Survivor this past week and one moment I came across that really hit me was when Barramundi's camp was wiped out in Survivor: The Australian Outback.
Omg. Same! I hated that season, so boring and only bad things happening. But when their camp was wiped out, that was the first time I cried about something that happened to a whole tribe.
The all star cast was so rude to Jenna, not all of them, but Alicia especially she had no reason to be rude about it and say she wouldn’t have come out to play like Alicia this isn’t about you, Jenna was obviously struggling and there was no reason to kick her while she’s down and even though Kathy was nice in the moment before and afterwards she called Jenna a negative cloud among Mogo Mogo, like obviously she’s not gonna be so cheerful if her mother is on her deathbed, I’m glad Rob and Amber had empathy and I completely agree with Rob when he said that they had no reason to question Jenna, and he said that perfectly, I feel so bad for Jenna in that moment.
Some ones you could do for part 2... 1. Kathy's Jury Speeches in Marquesas & All Stars 2. Stephenie falling in the Guatemala Final Immunity Challenge 3. Dreamz putting the idol down after just voting out Yau-Man 4. Brenda being voted out in Caramoan 5. Trish's Jury Speech in Cagayan
@@MsVitaD I think you may lack some perspective. That era of Survivor was insanely emotional. Relationships actually mattered, so it’s unfair to call her that.
penner was so good to lisa, i wish they would’ve gone to the end together with maybe skupin. however, i really liked malcolm and denise and think denise deserved to win
lexi buzzell It could be argued that he was using her past to emotionally manipulate her, so he could get her vote. It is interesting gameplay, but I wouldn't describe it as being good or nice to her.
Eager Turtle very true, i see your point. i guess he worked to her weakness but i think (she may have said it i can’t really remember) that he helped her realize more about herself and why she lives her live and how she does. i also think the charisma that penner has really persuaded her as she was vulnerable
Sydney's speech after losing in Fire making, is what cost Aubrey the game. The Jury saw that Aubrey took away Sydney's chance to help her mother, and that moment, Aubrey became the Villian. Sydney lost and took Aubrey down with her for beating her in Fire Making!
Penner is actually horrible in the conversation with Lisa on the beach. It is clearly traumatic for her and he dwells and pushes too much... He speaks the most and show arrogance "it is my business to know"!? Most child stars were used and the breadwinners of their families. You can have all the confidence in the world bur being a child you will be a pleaser. Basic. Still he shows 0 empathy, 0 understanding and 100% gets off on his dominance of her in that conversation. Horrible to watch....
Penner strategically needed Lisa and was trying to sway her to his side, I won't argue that, but after seeing Lisa feeling lost and disconnected from her tribemates for most of the season up until that point, I thought it was a beautiful and cathartic moment for her. He's comforting her in a moment where she's doubting herself and the decisions she's had to make in the game and he's telling her that given the expectations that's been thrust upon her all her life from a young age that she needs to think about herself and not the image she feels she has to portray for the approval of others. It may be something that Penner had to say to her in regards to his game but it was something Lisa needed to hear in regards to her life outside of it and that's why I appreciate the moment.
Could you define "emotional"? For example, when JT gave Russell his idol and then got voted out could be considered an "emotional" moment as humour is an emotion.
Adam was one of the worst winners in survivor history!! He only won because of his back story. He didn’t make any moves necessary to win, just stuck with the majority the whole game.... he’s up there with Michelle and Sophie from South Pacific.
Sam Blackmore not really..... there’s not one noteworthy move any of the 3 did in their seasons. And in recent survivor history that is what the jury awards. Just look at Adam’s season where Ken was pretty much the underdog after most of the merge portion. And I still think he played a better game than Adam.
Sarah Lacina from Game Changers was a worse winner, and she's one of the worst winners in Survivor history. She won because of a lucky legacy advantage at the tribal where Cirie was voted off and because Brad Culpepper doesn't have half of a brain to realize Tai is a better choice to bring with him to the end.
Sportsjazzfan #JazzNation I mean Adam was in such a shitty position at the beginning of the merge, nobody trusted him and his own alliance (Hannah an Zeke) were ready to turn on him, but he made his way out of that, put himself in the dominant alliance, got Will to flip on Zeke when his alliance was down 5-4 at final 9, turned one of the guys who wanted him out most in Jay into a loyal ally of his outside of the alliance, and finally was able to find two immunity idols (tho he fucked up w them twice). Yes he wasn't the best player from that season, that's David and that is not arguable, but he was the 2nd best player. And while I do believe that his back story of how he wanted to do this for his mother was the reason he won UNANIMOUSLY he almost definitely would've still won as he was facing friggin Hannah and Ken. All in all there are far worse winners in Survivor history then Adam, Natalie from S19, Fabio from S21, Amber S8, Sarah S34, and Ethan from S3 are all ones that come to mind.
