I’m starting to get into nail polish too. I got some open toe compression socks so I can see my toes and paint them. I have MCAS, so I try to be conscious of products. Zoya is one of the cleanest nail polish brands but I couldn’t get it in the store so I bought piggy paint nail polish, hopefully it works out for me. They had a topcoat and nail polish remover without really bad chemicals so that brand might be worth a look.❤ Great job on your no buy year!🎉
@@ruby3200 a lot of indie brands are 10 free (so made without a lot of potentially irritating ingredients!) and they have a lot more fun colors! Thankfully I'm not sensitive to these things and they don't irritate my asthma so I can use regular nail polish remover etc. but I am always looking for new polish brands to try 😊
I have a similar goal as you ($1500 for the year) but mine is more lenient since it’s focused on makeup exclusively (I don’t tend to overbuy with skin/body/hair products). Overall, I just want to spend less than I did last year! Love how you put it - I always want to focus on how much I love makeup & not how much I like buying it! I get a thrill from new stuff but i already have so much good stuff in my collection
@@alittlebitofgoldglitter3935 I considered focusing just on makeup because that's all I overbuy as well (that's likely what I will do next year) but I was sort of curious what I spend in general 😂 my skin and hair are so picky I just stick with certain things! And thank you! I also get a thrill from new stuff, so it's very tempting to buy something because it's pretty, but I have so many pretty things already! Seeing the amazing looks you and others create makes me so inspired to just look through my collection and see what I can create!
