Gosh. Wow. I've never had anyone reply to my comment before. I also wish they were more well known in usa and canada( im from canada). With that statement about them being special I am strictly speaking about my own opinion because I am completely biased towards BTS. I'm not afraid to admit that. I would say my reasoning behind that comment that they are special and started from the ground up is due to the video that I watched ' BTS contribution to music.', plus their work with UNICEF. Within my knowledge of kpop i havent seen another group share such a strong message of self love and mental health I completely agree with all the other comments too about their message and who they are. They always sing live. They may have 10-20% backing vocals in some songs, but they always dance and sing live. It is incredible and unlike most western artist I seen in my lifetime. That said, To really understand the background of why they are the only ones so popular in America, I would just have to say they are the perfect underdog story, additionally they have put in the time, hard work, struggle and talent at the right time for the American and western audience to embrace them. They always sing live and when they don't you can tell because their mouths don't move. They do not lip sync, in fact you can hear them breathing into the mics. But they do use backing tracks. Backing tracks are used for the fullness of sound, the added extra harmonies that they won't do while dancing. All kpop groups use backing tracks for richer sound. I believe the biggest reason BTS is this big is because they have so much stage presence, they have relatable songs and have endearing personalities. You mentioned how they have good producers and composers. I'm happy to tell you that the members themselves are part of the producing and composing crew. Their lyrics in particular are mostly written by the members. I think that's one of their biggest charm. They are not only self-produced but the songs they produce have so much quality production and lyric-wise. They have honesty in their music and it's not just love songs for them. They talk about mental health, social divide and other social issues.

Omg please react to more bts. I would recommend a music video by them. Maybe the music video of fake love. There are many reasons why bts got so big and not other groups . Bts saw an oppurtunity for success in the west and siezed it and worked tirelessly to make sure they succeed. They were very well recieved by the audience because , speaking in clear terms, bts puts out higher quality content. Whether it be songs, performances or music videos, bts is almost always better than other groups. They also offer more sincerity because the members of bts themselves compose and write alot of their own music. All of this mixed with their almost spotless public image and incredible work ethic is the reason for bts's success.
That was a lovely reaction but your sound system was seriously off guys, my ears were screaming in agony while I was watching your video. Now about BTS - you picked a great song but not the best recording of their performance to start with. Army chanting was so loud you could barely hear them singing. I mean when you are somewhat familiar with BTS, Army chants at different venues can be thrilling to watch on its now but for a " beginner" they can take away from the overall performance. If you are seriously interested in learning more about BTS, their music, dance choreography and overall talent these 7 men posses, then I would probably do as many other YT -ers do and that would be watching particular song in triple in one go - a MV ( usually stunning visuals) , a dance choreography practice in dance studio ( you will be amazed how GREAT dancers they truly are) and a concert life performance of the same song ( a true test of fire when they have to dance and sing life ). And to your question why BTS and not all the other Kpop groups exploded the same way globally - hard work, hard work, hard work, hard work. There are great "Who are BTS", or " BTS from nobodies to legends" videos on YT that would open your eyes in regard to what they have had to endure and how hard they had to work to get where they are right now - they were underdogs of Kpop industry nobody took seriously, and they proved everyone wrong. They were not handed any freebies or special privileges by anyone, quite the opposite actually - everything they have achieved so far is by their own doing and incredible team work and dedication. i dont represent army to speak the reason why we love the boys so much. for me, i think i would conclude that to the connection i feel for their music, artistry, mv n story telling of music plus the boys personality kind of attract me at 1st place. i know other artists got similar characteristic but the timing to know them is quite naturally done. they impress me how hard working they r n the passion that they showing so intense for music. the more i dig into their content n what kind of artists they r, the more i love them. they remind me of many things n i'm happy to just watching them n listening to their music even though some of them is not my preference but i willing to spend time listening n start to enjoy n appreciate new music genre jumping out of my comfort zone. first they do sing all live they have proved it to everyone during a live performance. Second they won the billboard award 3 time in a row and is the only band from a non english speaking country to do so also 2018 won the group duo from the billboard. now the have won peoples, Disney and Iheart radio 2 times been on Ellen and other talked shows. They are diffrent because they came from an unknown small company which means all promotions were done on social media by the members, Other groups are promoted by there company while BTS did there own. The tv stations would cut their performances or not show it at all so they went to TH-cam and twitter to show their music and daily lives. That is why they made it this big they were looked down on but that did not stop them.....
You have to really dig into the back story of this group to see what makes them so different from other KPOP groups. Their fans are all ages & worldwide. They were shunned by KPop because they came from nothing, not part of the big 3 companies. They were accused of plagerisim, death threats made against them, actual SMS campaigns by others fandoms of kpop to defame them. They started to become more popular outside of Korea before their media started paying attention to them. We could go on & on but they are true to who they are, they remain humble & thankful. They write & compose songs about things that matter opression, violence against youth, depression, learning to love who You are, not what people think you should be. They have an alternate universe that runs all throughout their mv's going way back in their discography that tells a story if they are watched in a certain order. Their music also incorporates art, books, mythology, etc. Everything in the mvs, stage performances, interviews, etc are easter eggs. All their official mvs have subtitles via Closed Captions. I always ask myself why BTS is so big compared to other Kpop groups. I've been listening to lots of Kpop for a while now and really like many groups, see how talented they are, how good the songs and production are, how much effort they put into it, but for me nothing compares to BTS. I think it may have to do with a lot of factors: I think for one, the way they are (and how their label kind of encourages them to) so open about themselves with fans. Their personality, their struggles, everything really shows and truly seems genuine. And their underdog story in Kpop (coming from a small label, being cut off from broadcasts) is also part of the appeal, I think. Then they are also very adamant about having meaningful lyrics and sending a positive message to fans: they talk about things that (at least from what I hear) are somehow tabooish in S.Korea (and many other countries as well) like suicide, anxiety, depression; they also make some social criticism in their songs, usually in way young people can really relate to. Also, their songs are really really really well composed, written and produced. They are catchy and simple where they have to be, but also very intricate and deep on an inner layer. And they all take part in that. I think being a small label kind of helped in that: there are a few incompany producers that have been with them from the beginning (even the CEO of the company co-produces many of their songs) and also the members take part in song-writing and producing in every single album. Another thing that was very appealing to me was the whole conceptual thought put in every thing they release. There are often books that are inspiration topics for their songs and MVs, there's a fictional storyline that runs through their MVs (there's even a webtoon and soon a TV drama). Their most recent album, Map of the Soul:Persona is all about the Jungian concept of "persona". Like never would have I imagined that a boygroup would make a whole album inspired in Carl Jung! It's amazing! And finally, all the members are very very talented, hard working, versatile, lovable, conscious and humble. To sum up, they're the whole package. They sing Live and yes its hard but they are trained to do these kind of performances professionally. They have backing tracks but its mostly LIVE. Ive been to many BTS live concerts and its LIVE. You need to react to more live performances. And your question about Why BTS though if you consider the other groups what makes them special??? It was mainly their sincerity to their music. And of course They have it all. Looks. Talent. Skills. Personality.. Attitude. Passion for Music. Dedication to Fans. It was sad for them to go through the struggle since they come from Bighit which is not part of the Big3 companies in Korea. But Bighit was wise enough to have BTS focus more on overseas promotions that garnered them a huge international fanbase. They weren’t just a one hit wonder or one song made them pop. They gradually climbed WORLDWIDE charts Esp in the US since 2015. They debuted 2013 and they had more international fans than in korea. And with their recent comeback, south korea just learned how BTS is globally famous and very influential to many International Kpop fans. I am just so proud of these boys.i've watched them grow and seeing them gaining the recognition they deserve it just warms my heart. Hi! Thanks for reacting to BTS is nice when new people get to know them or at least watch some of their mvs or their live concerts although the audio isn't the best in those... I stan them for almost 4 years now and was principally because of the lyrics on their song, their message for us. Also their stage presence/performance, their personalities and getting to know them till now. That's what attracted their fans most of the time but also getting to know what they been though and it's one of the reason why their fanbase is so big and why we always support them... Not sure if you will see this its been a while since you posted this video. But BTS are big for serveral reasons which even now have experts anaylsing. But from one army member I will say despite their music having meaning which is majorly important. They have control over social media and post lots of clips about themselves, alot of which are funny, hilarious or extremely sincere. Not alot of kpop groups have this kind of control or access to their fanbase. They go out of their way for their fans they have donated in their names, they have given food or i beleive recently blankets on cold days to army who have waited in lines for along time after being concerned about theit health. Thats what i have been told. Idol groups are music groups however they dont reflect always the way an everyday person would live same as any actor or musiciian. BTS however have an ability to relate their lives fears and music to what you and mean and person next to us can relate to. That is one of the biggest impacts of BTS.

Gosh. Wow. I've never had anyone reply to my comment before. I also wish they were more well known in usa and canada( im from canada). With that statement about them being special I am strictly speaking about my own opinion because I am completely biased towards BTS. I'm not afraid to admit that. I would say my reasoning behind that comment that they are special and started from the ground up is due to the video that I watched ' BTS contribution to music.', plus their work with UNICEF. Within my knowledge of kpop i havent seen another group share such a strong message of self love and mental health I completely agree with all the other comments too about their message and who they are. However , I don't quite agree in calling my point not valid. I wasn't trying to make a point I was merely sharing my opinion and information on who they are and what videos to watch. They always sing live. They may have 10-20% backing vocals in some songs, but they always dance and sing live. It is incredible and unlike most western artist I seen in my lifetime. That said, To really understand the background of why they are the only ones so popular in America, I would just have to say they are the perfect underdog story, additionally they have put in the time, hard work, struggle and talent at the right time for the American and western audience to embrace them. Ironically they were hardly accepted in their own country and broke across the world first before their own country started seeing their worth. They always sing live and when they don't you can tell because their mouths don't move. They do not lip sync, in fact you can hear them breathing into the mics. But they do use backing tracks. Backing tracks are used for the fullness of sound, the added extra harmonies that they won't do while dancing. All kpop groups use backing tracks for richer sound. Do you repeat comments over and over like this regularly in your videos?

I believe the biggest reason BTS is this big is because they have so much stage presence, they have relatable songs and have endearing personalities. You mentioned how they have good producers and composers. I'm happy to tell you that the members themselves are part of the producing and composing crew. Their lyrics in particular are mostly written by the members. I think that's one of their biggest charm. They are not only self-produced but the songs they produce have so much quality production and lyric-wise. They have honesty in their music and it's not just love songs for them. They talk about mental health, social divide and other social issues.

Omg please react to more bts. I would recommend a music video by them. Maybe the music video of fake love. There are many reasons why bts got so big and not other groups . Bts saw an oppurtunity for success in the west and siezed it and worked tirelessly to make sure they succeed. They were very well recieved by the audience because , speaking in clear terms, bts puts out higher quality content. Whether it be songs, performances or music videos, bts is almost always better than other groups. They also offer more sincerity because the members of bts themselves compose and write alot of their own music. All of this mixed with their almost spotless public image and incredible work ethic is the reason for bts's success.

That was a lovely reaction but your sound system was seriously off guys, my ears were screaming in agony while I was watching your video.
Now about BTS - you picked a great song but not the best recording of their performance to start with. Army chanting was so loud you could barely hear them singing. I mean when you are somewhat familiar with BTS, Army chants at different venues can be thrilling to watch on its now but for a " beginner" they can take away from the overall performance.
If you are seriously interested in learning more about BTS, their music, dance choreography and overall talent these 7 men posses, then I would probably do as many other YT -ers do and that would be watching particular song in triple in one go - a MV ( usually stunning visuals) , a dance choreography practice in dance studio ( you will be amazed how GREAT dancers they truly are) and a concert life performance of the same song ( a true test of fire when they have to dance and sing life ).
And to your question why BTS and not all the other Kpop groups exploded the same way globally - hard work, hard work, hard work, hard work. There are great "Who are BTS", or " BTS from nobodies to legends" videos on YT that would open your eyes in regard to what they have had to endure and how hard they had to work to get where they are right now - they were underdogs of Kpop industry nobody took seriously, and they proved everyone wrong. They were not handed any freebies or special privileges by anyone, quite the opposite actually - everything they have achieved so far is by their own doing and incredible team work and dedication.

i dont represent army to speak the reason why we love the boys so much. for me, i think i would conclude that to the connection i feel for their music, artistry, mv n story telling of music plus the boys personality kind of attract me at 1st place. i know other artists got similar characteristic but the timing to know them is quite naturally done. they impress me how hard working they r n the passion that they showing so intense for music. the more i dig into their content n what kind of artists they r, the more i love them. they remind me of many things n i'm happy to just watching them n listening to their music even though some of them is not my preference but i willing to spend time listening n start to enjoy n appreciate new music genre jumping out of my comfort zone. first they do sing all live they have proved it to everyone during a live performance. Second they won the billboard award 3 time in a row and is the only band from a non english speaking country to do so also 2018 won the group duo from the billboard. now the have won peoples, Disney and Iheart radio 2 times been on Ellen and other talked shows. They are diffrent because they came from an unknown small company which means all promotions were done on social media by the members, Other groups are promoted by there company while BTS did there own. The tv stations would cut their performances or not show it at all so they went to TH-cam and twitter to show their music and daily lives. That is why they made it this big they were looked down on but that did not stop them.....
You have to really dig into the back story of this group to see what makes them so different from other KPOP groups. Their fans are all ages & worldwide. They were shunned by KPop because they came from nothing, not part of the big 3 companies. They were accused of plagerisim, death threats made against them, actual SMS campaigns by others fandoms of kpop to defame them. They started to become more popular outside of Korea before their media started paying attention to them. We could go on & on but they are true to who they are, they remain humble & thankful. They write & compose songs about things that matter opression, violence against youth, depression, learning to love who You are, not what people think you should be. They have an alternate universe that runs all throughout their mv's going way back in their discography that tells a story if they are watched in a certain order. Their music also incorporates art, books, mythology, etc. Everything in the mvs, stage performances, interviews, etc are easter eggs. All their official mvs have subtitles via Closed Captions. They are simply true artists that want to make the world a better place.

I always ask myself why BTS is so big compared to other Kpop groups. I've been listening to lots of Kpop for a while now and really like many groups, see how talented they are, how good the songs and production are, how much effort they put into it, but for me nothing compares to BTS. I think it may have to do with a lot of factors: I think for one, the way they are (and how their label kind of encourages them to) so open about themselves with fans. Their personality, their struggles, everything really shows and truly seems genuine. And their underdog story in Kpop (coming from a small label, being cut off from broadcasts) is also part of the appeal, I think.
Then they are also very adamant about having meaningful lyrics and sending a positive message to fans: they talk about things that (at least from what I hear) are somehow tabooish in S.Korea (and many other countries as well) like suicide, anxiety, depression; they also make some social criticism in their songs, usually in way young people can really relate to.
Also, their songs are really really really well composed, written and produced. They are catchy and simple where they have to be, but also very intricate and deep on an inner layer. And they all take part in that. I think being a small label kind of helped in that: there are a few incompany producers that have been with them from the beginning (even the CEO of the company co-produces many of their songs) and also the members take part in song-writing and producing in every single album.
Another thing that was very appealing to me was the whole conceptual thought put in every thing they release. There are often books that are inspiration topics for their songs and MVs, there's a fictional storyline that runs through their MVs (there's even a webtoon and soon a TV drama). Their most recent album, Map of the Soul:Persona is all about the Jungian concept of "persona". Like never would have I imagined that a boygroup would make a whole album inspired in Carl Jung! It's amazing!
And finally, all the members are very very talented, hard working, versatile, lovable, conscious and humble. To sum up, they're the whole package.

Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop. (A large story)
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) have to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul:persona" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.

They sing Live and yes its hard but they are trained to do these kind of performances professionally. They have backing tracks but its mostly LIVE. Ive been to many BTS live concerts and its LIVE. You need to react to more live performances.
And your question about Why BTS though if you consider the other groups what makes them special??? It was mainly their sincerity to their music. And of course They have it all. Looks. Talent. Skills. Personality.. Attitude. Passion for Music. Dedication to Fans. It was sad for them to go through the struggle since they come from Bighit which is not part of the Big3 companies in Korea. But Bighit was wise enough to have BTS focus more on overseas promotions that garnered them a huge international fanbase. They weren’t just a one hit wonder or one song made them pop. They gradually climbed WORLDWIDE charts Esp in the US since 2015. They debuted 2013 and they had more international fans than in korea. And with their recent comeback, south korea just learned how BTS is globally famous and very influential to many International Kpop fans. I am just so proud of these boys.i've watched them grow and seeing them gaining the recognition they deserve it just warms my heart. I like kpop in general but BTS is the ultimate group for me having the overall qualities to become the biggest world music artist. I get it (THereAreOtherGroupsTooWhyBTS??) when they say its preferences..but for me when you say who is the best?? You got to have the total package
What i mean by total package? They make their own music and always are hands on during the production of their songs and albums.

Another is their Music videos are very well produced and always cinematic and aesthetically beautiful! BTS concepts are sooo unique and driven by their own stories and experiences. Which makes their songs really relatable to many! And when it comes to BTS , you need to have ENGLISH subs or see the english lyrics because these boys are lyrical genuises! Poets i must say. They have such deep and relatable lyrics. I promise you these 7 boys are artist. Real musicians. They dont just sing random nonsense stuffs. They are so talented hardworking boys and very passionate with their music. These boys also proved real brotherhood, they truly care for each other as brothers like no other kpop group(bigbang is one of those genuine bros in kpop) (most groups may see each other as business partners i guess) to prove this genuine relationship is the BTS-Begin song. Why don’t you watch they performed this song at the 2018 Billboard awards ? BTS won the best group & top social awards for Billboard 2019. BTS was invited to Billboard 3 years in a row, they performed there in 2018 & 2019, and also to receive awards.

Not sure if you will see this its been a while since you posted this video. But BTS are big for serveral reasons which even now have experts anaylsing. But from one army member I will say despite their music having meaning which is majorly important. They have control over social media and post lots of clips about themselves, alot of which are funny, hilarious or extremely sincere. Not alot of kpop groups have this kind of control or access to their fanbase. They go out of their way for their fans they have donated in their names, they have given food or i beleive recently blankets on cold days to army who have waited in lines for along time after being concerned about theit health. Thats what i have been told. Idol groups are music groups however they dont reflect always the way an everyday person would live same as any actor or musiciian. BTS however have an ability to relate their lives fears and music to what you and mean and person next to us can relate to. That is one of the biggest impacts of BTS.
