This is all I can say to all believers who follow Christ: Try To Stand Out Don't Try To Fit In. Let your personal relationship with Christ convict you to do what is pleasing to God. God Bless You, All.
@Thumper and what if the world is praising God? we should stop? read Leviticus in full because anyone who thinks that getting a tattoo is wrong must also follow everything else the chapter states not to mention the entire book such as not cutting the sides of your head or eating any meat with the blood still in it or wearing any clothes woven with two types of materials... heck even the next chapter states that if you disrespect your parents you should be flogged ( paraphrasing). don't be hard on yourself if you have a tattoo. please
@The girl who can’t game - Tattoos are *of the world* there is NO doubt. When the Apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy 2:9-10, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works". ~~Then WHY would it be okay to have any tattoos? Tattoos have NO part with, "shamefacedness and sobriety", do they? People also need to remember that ALL the Apostle Paul and ANYONE says in the Scriptures is all breathed by the Spirit of God. DOES having tattoos exude *holiness* ? I *don't* think so. Jesus said to be Holy, as His Father in Heaven is Holy. Nothing Holy about this world, and *nothing* Holy about tattoos. OH, and although when Jesus died He fulfilled some of the Law, the Moral Law still stands, and Joyce ADDED to the second part of that verse. Leviticus 19:28 reads, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord." The "for dead" does NOT follow "nor print any marks upon you", does it? (Which violates Rev. 22's warnings, but I digress...) Christianity isn't rocket science. We have to "live in" this world, but the Scriptures are clear that we are not to *be OF this world*. Apostle Paul is clear on ALL we women are to do AND be. (As is Titus 2). "Bible tattoo" or any other tattoo is NOT ever something a Christian (especially) woman should even let cross her mind. That's NOT being "legalistic", it is NOT "adding works", it is NOT "baptized in prune juice". It's living in obedience to a Holy God. If she chooses not to, that's on her, but to lead others into what is clearly sin is only one reason as Christians, we are to. "Mark and avoid" her. WHY do we stay away from women like Joyce Meyer OTHER than her *many* false teachings? 2 John 9-11 - "Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. That audience the size it is shows that people are not reading their Bibles. (OR don't care what God has to say). HIS word should be FIRST in ALL matters. Always.
Mary Mclocke well then I guess I’m not a good Christian woman because I’m tattooed and pierced, I don’t wear “modest” clothing. I suppose the way I live and seek God has NO merit based off of what you’re saying. Nah. Take that judgement elsewhere. That’s not your job.

True. When you have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with The Lord and The Holy Spirit, they will convict your spirit of what is right and grieves them on any decision that you make. Don't rely on someone else's walk with Christ. Sometimes what the HS may convict me of may not convict some other believer. We are all at a different level spiritually in our walk with The Lord.

@@MD-gw4rk the Bible in the new testament tells us to be modest, to flee appearance of evil. Jesus' on the cross does not give us freedom to do to our bodies whatever we wish. Tattoos are not modest and people who were then are viewed as rebels by both religious and non religious people and thus don't give glory to God.
No amount of negative comments can change the the truth. And the TRUTH is that it was because of this amazing woman that I started to believe again. I had the courage to ask Jesus back into my life. @@aashishanthony Did you ever go into a tattoo shop and just observe your surroundings? Getting a tattoo is actually a ritual. It tells a particular demon of that shop that you are theirs. God's mark mentioned in the Bible is not physical but rather SPIRITUAL.....it signifies actions, not a physical mark like Joyce is trying to say here. She straight up lied right there.
@@Acts-hv8bh tell me more about shop demons while explaining to me why Jesus has tattoos. Man judges by the outward appearance; God judges by the heart.
Matthew 23:28 " Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness". In our earth History, Roman Catholics used to burn, kill non-catholics while carrying a cross on their neckless. Joyce is telling people instead of going to preach to the world, instead of helping the needy and orphanages but go ahead and tatoo yourself the name of Jesus on your body as a witness to the world. I have never heard such interpretion ever. Unfortunatly it is the only verse that clearly speaks of the tatoos which was associted with paganism and many people are misinterpreting it to fit their agenda or feel good message.
Becareful not to change the Word of God Leviticus 19:28 28 You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord. OR TATTOO YOURSELVES:I AM THE LORD.
There will always be uptight, religious people who make God look bad. Joyce loves God. She has been through hell and back. She preaches from the bible and with her whole heart. I don't see that from all teachers of the word. I will always defend Joyce.

@@ruthannmiller1190 God does not appreciate people embellishing the truth; that is Satan's craft. King David did not dance for God in total nakedness. He was clothed enough to cover his nakedness. The little clothing he had on was very humbling, nothing from the riches of royalty. This was an intentional act to express his willingness to humble himself as a king of a nation before God in order to fully praise God and give Him all the glory. As for the idea of judging, the Bible commands us to judge by putting everything to the test based on the word of God and His standard. If you see a man murder another man, what do you call him? In order to call him a murderer, you would have to judge him to be one, right?
I love Joyce Meyer but I can't stand tattoos. They desecrate the body like graffiti on a beautiful building. I believe God spoke out against it in the Old Testament.
@L A No need to Google. I will just let God be God he hasn't gotten it wrong yet. I will pray for people continously because I strongly doubt God would let tattoos keep anyone from seeking his face. I thank God for being God and seeing so much more than my mistakes, the filthy things that I was exposed to as a child that caused me to stay away from God. Most of all I want to thank God for the people in the church, that looked past my pagan ways and interceded for me based on their love for God and not letting scripture override obedience. Truth be told if you have sinned your tattooed as well it may not be seen by human eyes but God sees it.
So if someone gives their life to Christ after they have a tattoo according to you they are desecrated? The Bible doesn’t say that a tattoo desecrates the body. Judge not lest you be judged

What is she talking about at 1:59?! This is not what the Bible says read this properly! I obviously had to go double check after a statement like that “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:16 KJV If you read the whole chapter and in the context of this verse, it is much more complex than Joyce is interpreting it as. I believe it is more of a metaphorical meaning than what Joyce states it as. Maybe I’m wrong?
Charm Santos I would not follow your heart or your motives, that dangerous. Jesus says to follow him and not lean on your own understanding for a REASON. Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it? Mark 7:21 - For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Thos that believe, Jesus has to send the Holy Spirit to help and make us a new creature because.... Romans 3:10-18 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Mr. Joyce speaks from the pits of hell, satan will never tell you the truth. I pray this helps.
There is no Leviticus 20:28! You’ve misquoted Leviticus 19:28! Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:28 - KJV He says simply not to print ANY marks upon you and then cites his authority, “I am the LORD.” If you challenge his laws then you’re challenging his authority and the Almighty himself. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31 - KJV
She made a mistake and as a child of God you know you have too. Unless you are claiming to have never made a mistake and in that sense I could ask you, why are you claiming to be Christ?
Silver Spider 101 I do not claim to have never made a mistake. However, I do not believe that she made a mistake. I believe that she is intentionally miss quoting the Bible in order to lead others astray.
@@seanthebaptist7688 I'm sorry but that's just dumb. She was one off. The chapter doesn't exist but she got the verse exactly right. @@seanthebaptist7688 Colosions 3:13 "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
It is in Leviticus 19:28 not 20:28, and it doesn't say "for the dead" about the tattoo part; only the cutting part says "for the dead." Leviticus 19:28 "You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord."
Philippians 4:8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
It doesn't say that God has us tattooed on His hand. It says: Isaiah 49:16 “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” graven is deeply impressed; firmly fixed. It's not tattoo. Since majority of the large crowds are cheering, be very weary and worry for your souls. Beware of the false teachers that say things for your itching ears.
RunesOfPrussia Darryn Lewis It just depends on what version of the Bible you’re reading. The version you have might say “graven”, but other versions like the New International Version, which is a very popular version worldwide, use the word “engraved”, meaning written or marked. Tattoos are simply permanent markings/writings. And with regards to Leviticus 19:28, which is the verse I assume you think she changed the meaning of, she isn’t changing it or leaving any part of it out. The entire verse is referring to cutting/tattooing yourself for the dead in a ritualistic way, which of course is evil. But if that’s not the case, then I personally believe there is nothing wrong with getting tattoos. Nowhere else in the Bible does it mention the exact word “tattoo”, and certainly not in a negative way. It really just depends on the tattoo of course, whether it’s a pentagram or evil symbol or not. Isaiah 44:5 NIV says “Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord ’; others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ and will take the name Israel.” So there you have it, folks. Joyce was right when she said people have a bad habit of picking and choosing what we want to believe, leaving out certain parts and changing what scripture says or means to justify their arguments and make people view the subject the way they want them to instead of what scripture actually says about it. Classic harsh judgment from the people who are supposed to be the least judgmental, if not at all.

Please remember that Christ did not come to abolish the law. The new covenant does not delete the old covenant. It is by the law that we are shown how grateful we are to be for grace. Paul teaches us not to abuse grace in a means to justify sin. However, you are a new creation and the things of the world should not hold any attraction to you.
She's not saying that. And the verse you're using out of context is referring to THE Law... The ten commandments! There are more than 600-700 levitical laws! This particular verse in leviticus is in reference to the idolatrous rituals of the pagans who would cut and mark their bodies in worship of their gods and the dead!
The point is tattoos are not of the world. Unless of course you have a tattoo of the devil or something evil. Please read the chapter and you will understand the intentions of the people. Read my other comments as well. Tattoos and haircuts are not sin even though Jesus told them in this chapter not to do either and many more things. They were worshipping dead people as idols when he told them this. Pray for wisdom when you read God's word.
Anything to get me excited for the Lord is fine with me. I take what I need from the message and leave the rest alone. I've been the happiest I've been in the last few weeks, than I've been in the last several years, because I've been listening to sermons.
Looking at all these comments (tattoos are a sin and you can go to hell for that). I have a tattoo myself but it doesn't change me. I've accepted the Lord into my life. I love the Lord with all my heart. And if people call themselves Christian? Then stop judging and get over it
God speaks on principal here. They are general truths that we need to take seriously. They should not be a blending of anything and our lives not surrounded by vanity and Me myself and I mentality
Once we are baptized with the holy spirit. We no longer need anything from this world. It's just what Christ has done for us. He GAVE himself to died for us on the cross. Once we become followers on Him it no longer we (me, myself, I) that live but it's Christ in Us. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20 NKJV And if we decide that we want to get a tattoo wouldn't it not mean that I would be still as me myself, I and not CHRIST who lives in You??
Rachel Echesa , i totally agree with you, and that she says God has us tattoed on His hand. God is nit flesh, but spiriit. I won't judge, but rather pray for those that lack knowladge. We are God's temple and have no right to do our body any harm, God bless
Okay then, I hope you don't have your ears pierced, and that you never indulge in junk food or soda and that you work out five days a week, and that you don't pluck your eyebrows, and that you don't shave.... Also hope you don't have any scars from injuries, or skin conditions, that the Lord permitted to happen to you. Or, maybe.... God is more concerned with your heart than your temporary body & that getting a tattoo for reasons that glorify him is like the intricately carved pillars in the tabernacle. Also, consider that Jesus willfully took the ultimate pain & has literal holes in his wrists and feet bc He died for us on a cross! I think He's okay with my tattoos.
What i find most interesting, is that i have 9 tattoos.. and was recently saved. Yet religious people will still judge and make comments when judging thy neighbor is a sin in the bible.
So those that think she is wrong, what about those that have tattoos before being saved? They are not worthy because of them? How many of you saying she is wrong wear earrings or makeup? God placed a mark on Cain, he also placed a mark on the 144,000 and he places his mark upon us in the new city. I don’t believe we should be Tattoo’d, unless God wrote it on me. There is a difference between Writing and Tattoo. Each of us must not justify but seek to Glorify the Lord. It’s of the world, and lukewarm mega churches are the ones who are telling Christians it’s fine to get tattoos. If I’m honest, the way I see it, the normalization of tattoos is just preparing people for the mark of the beast 🤷🏻♀️
Simple questions do you eat meat? Do you preserve the fruits and vegetables people cultivate for you to eat it on the 5 year? If you believe to abide by these terms then you should abide by the rest of the scriptures of Leviticus
The same way does eating meat from animals with blood make us unholy or shaving our hair because Leviticus, the same verse about tatoos previously instructs christians at that time not to shave their hair,?? So clearly we should learn how to read the Bible and realize its a transitional book from old testament to the new testament, now old testament was before the coming of Christ, animals with blood were not eaten because they were sacrifices to God, now to new testament,God gave his own son for our sins, hes the last sacrifice thats why we now eat animals with blood, we are under the generation of grace where Jesus saves us by believing in him and no longer by outward endowment...that being said we shave our hair, eat animals with blood and do tatoos because we are under the new covenant....God requires us to have faith in him and believe in him, whosoever believes in him, if you read revelation there's the mark of the beast which is placed on the foreheads of unbelievers we are to resist it, now that's the only mark the new testament refers to when talking about eternal destiny

I've been a JMM 'fanatic' like listening and watching her videos everyday, reading her books, even went crazy as to buying her books in a bookstore before. But this video of hers is really something. There's no Leviticus 20:28 in the bible. She said "misquoted" and continued preaching. She also misquoted another verse in Isaiah (eg. tattoo the palm of His hands). There's no verse in KJV like that. "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” - Isa. 49:16 See this verse is quite deep and it's not meant to be 'literal' (like tattooing). However, I get her point throughout her whole teaching in this video. It's all about legalism and motives (and also being holy). Although motives and being holy are distinct and not relative. There are the 10 commandments which we have to abide. And having tattoos is almost as adjunct or connected to killing yourself. So are smoking, and other bad stuff. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, righteousness and self-control/discipline. Human beings are sinful and fleshly. We do things that are worldly that's why we need discernment from God and His word. It's true that false teachers/prophets will come as the book of Revelations told us. We should pray for JMM. Love is a commandment after all.
I already knew this. We just need to pray for wisdom when we read the scriptures. I love how God is worried a out bigger things than a tattoo. Thanks Joyce for a great reminder. LOVE YOU!

When Christ lives in us, only his works(heavenly) are portrayed out. If anything of this world will influence in us, then it will manifest in worldly pleasures such as these, which will finally end in sin(doesnt matter how strong we are spiritually) it just portrays that we are of this world(devil).
almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of Chess. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one). I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me. The doctors said i’dnever get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life. I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace. I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse. They blamed me for the abuse they did to me. To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal. Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them. I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable. All my cards have fallen down. I have nothing left. But out. I wanted out. I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills. But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me. The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along. He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart. HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME . Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I have a job and am totally healed , full of joy. I’m now a born again Christian, in my 20’s who wants the entire world to know that JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU HE. LOVES. YOU.

It's wrong. Stop following man, follow God, even if you disagree or don't understand If God says no, it doesn't matter what anyone says Joyce isn't going to save you.
These are really the last days, the Joyce Meyer I knew is gone😥, oh my God now I believe Jesus is coming back when I see great teachers of the word loving the world this much
The actual Bible says: Leviticus 19:28 King James Version (KJV) 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
@Wisconsin Archer ummm.. King James did not write the KJV, so no I don't have My faith in the wrong king. And if the Spirit will lead you to truth no matter what version you read, why be against the KJV? Are you saying the NIVs gender neutral Bible is OK? What about the Queen James version? It is more like the King James than most modern translations.. It mostly only removes the verses on homosexuality... What about these bibles that have historical errors like the ESV? Is the Jehovah's Witness Bible okay too since it was translated from the same manuscripts as modern versions? What about the versions that remove the blood of Jesus? Are the versions that make Jesus a sinner OK? I can show you major errors in all of the popular versions, but you think it is okay to read any Bible because the Holy Spirit will lead you? That's not Scriptural. The Spirit guides you by the Word of God.
@Wisconsin Archer Joe was simply using her argument against her. She is the one who used that verse to justify it. Have tattoos if you want, but if she is going to use old law to justify it, she needs to have it used correctly.
@Wisconsin Archer nope... Won't nitpick it to death. Please do not tell me I am only KJV only to be prideful though and then tell me "God bless." I can agree to disagree. I do not believe I need many versions to understand the Bible. My young children read it just fine. If historical differences and errors making Jesus a sinner do not bother you, then we simply have to agree to disagree. That is not me being prideful. That is me seeking truth like any other believer, even those I disagree with. I'm not sure why we must attack strangers. I'm attacking her own comments on what the Bible says because they are not Biblical.
You can be separate in many many ways other then keeping your skin tattoo free...and those are much more important then being tattoo free. What are people that have lived a full life and are completely tattooed from head to to toe supposed to think when they read your comments or see how you treat them..? It's more about the heart and not looking the part
Being set apart is not SO much about the physical, but about how we CARRY ourselves and how we TREAT people. How we let the love of GOD flow through us. I’m not saying the physical doesn’t play a part, but it’s not as huge as people argue about.
I 100% agree with this. I started getting tattoos when i was young before following christ. Then i became a follower of jesus christ and instantly felt the judgement of people for how i looked. I started reading the scriptures through a legalistic lens. I became super devoted read the beautiful truth multiple times and truly love and still love fellowship with our Lord, but a big reason for the church to turn me off was religious spirits. I lost count on how many times i was openly judged for my tattoos in my early 20s. Now i am 30 and instead of running away from church I am having to unlearn from all experiences and get a new perspective. For all the judge mental christians out there. Just know you are no better than the pharisees and true love of Jesus will never judge based on outside appearance.
if your tattoos came before you knew JESUS CHRIST, thats covered by the BLOOD, brother. what I can't understand is the new trend today that christians continue to have themselves tattooed and they just justify that by making it religious, using the bible. ( romans 12:1-2)
I'm all for Grace and of the dangers of legalism but remember that, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19) I would be VERY careful about what I have put on my body. Just as I wouldn't dream of putting graffiti on a church building. Joyce. I'm all for freedom but beware of licence.
Mmmk so u truly think jesus is offended by this???? That He loves you less????? And what about scars??? Things i have i have on my body, does that mean i am not valuable or worthy of love??
@@kaylahertwig403 You have entirely misunderstood me. Of course we are not loved any less. You have scars or tattoos or whatever you have He loves you with an everlasting love. Be assured. It is simply that I regard my body as the "temple" that He lives in by the Holy Spirit. I used to smoke. I don't now. He gave me power to give it up. Praise God. I have scars too but gained accidentally or foolishly. I am loved no less and so are you loved no less. I just would have too much respect to mark my body as it is according to His word, His temple. What if you already have tattoos? Well we are of course under grace now and as long as you have believed in Christ as Saviour, and turned your life fully over to Him and His ways I've no doubt we'll meet one day in Glory and rejoice together in His salvation. God bless you.
@Moris Blackborn Maybe you've got tattoos or a tattooist or so on but as I said, "we are in the age of grace now" and fortunate or blessed with being able to withstand all sexual temptation or not, praise God we are forgiven 1 John 4. However yes, the scripture APPLIES to sexual immorality but there is also the truth that our body is not our own and is regarded as our Temple of the Holy Spirit regardless of what sin we sin we sin against it. Sexual or otherwise.
Isaiah 44:5 New King James Version (NKJV) "One will say, ‘I am the Lord’s’; Another will call himself by the name of Jacob; Another will write with his hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ And name himself by the name of Israel." So why did Joyce try to claim it says tattoo on his hand? It says write with his hand. And why does she claim to quote from Leviticus 20:28 but quotes from 19:28? She cannot even get her scriptures right. Lev 20:28 does not even exist. Misquoting Scripture makes a person a false teacher.
David King I wouldn’t condemn Joyce if I was you. GOD loves her dearly, and she has brought a lot of people to Christ through Christ. Her works for the kingdom are many. She isn’t a perfect person however, only Jesus.
Well we all make mistakes she's not perfect neither are you or I will probably make a mistake in this reply the same as you and Joyce both did she said Leviticus 20:28 instead of 19:28 the same as you wrote with his hand when it in fact says on his hand as far as Isaiah 44:16 she is teaching from the Ampc Bible which is the exact same thing it just makes it where people can understand better the Holy Spirit gave someone the knowledge to write the AMPC Bible to help people better understand the Bible When she said misquoted she's talking about how people interpret what they want it to say instead of what it says Joyce Meyers is a child of God who has brought many people to Christ which that is what we are all supposed to be doing
I have never heard such profound speech about true holiness! yes this is what God wanted us to understand. To keep our HEART & MOTIVES clean. Joyce nailed what holiness is! God is never religious ! He is broad minded & want us to walk humbly & cheerfully with him! He always condemned the tough & hard ways of Pharisees! he never wanted us to be religious like them. He wanted us to be Happy, humble & stay away from sin! Not to live with bunch of rules & restrictions! pursue holiness not Pharisee kinda religion! Thank you lord for clarifying us.. Thank you for giving us Joyce ! love from India :)
"Why would I do that? Just to make religious demons mad" "Well your not like me, - thank God!" 💖💖 She didn't say go out and get a million tattoos, she said have the right motive when your going to get the tattoo. The scripture she speaks of. “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:28 NKJV So many judging about people getting tattoos. What about the scripture above this one that says “You shall not shave around the sides of your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard.” Leviticus 19:27 NKJV How many people cut their hair? Beards? Or what about the scripture above that one? “‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.” Leviticus 19:26 NKJV Bet there are many who love their steaks rare dripping with blood. Point is. We can’t pick and choose which laws we will and will not follow. If you practice the law then we have to abide by them all. Everyone has personal convictions. Myself I am not convicted by tattoos for another maybe they are. But Joyce is right. Too many religious people who judge by their own personal convictions and then try to put them on others. God loves me. My tattoos and piercings.❤️
I remember when “should women wear head coverings?” Was all the rage. I asked a friend about it. She said “I know too many people with real problems, they don’t have time to sit around and argue about that wether or not to wear a hat.”

When the Apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy 2:9-10, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works".

This was an intentional act to express his willingness to humble himself as a king of a nation before God in order to fully praise God and give Him all the glory.
As for the idea of judging, the Bible commands us to judge by putting everything to the test based on the word of God and His standard.

Leviticus 19:28 - KJV
He says simply not to print ANY marks upon you and then cites his authority, “I am the LORD.”

@@seanthebaptist7688 Colosions 3:13 "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
It is in Leviticus 19:28 not 20:28, and it doesn't say "for the dead" about the tattoo part; only the cutting part says "for the dead." Leviticus 19:28
"You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord."
It says:
Isaiah 49:16
“Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”
graven is deeply impressed; firmly fixed. It's not tattoo.
Since majority of the large crowds are cheering, be very weary and worry for your souls. Beware of the false teachers that say things for your itching ears.
Wow...and the folks are clapping...blind leading the blind.
Exactly.that part there.
Not to mention she added to the leviticus verse... changing the meaning. 2nd part does not say for the dead... only the first part says that.
RunesOfPrussia Darryn Lewis
It just depends on what version of the Bible you’re reading.
Isaiah 44:5 NIV says “Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord ’; others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’ and will take the name Israel.”
So there you have it, folks.
RunesOfPrussia I don’t see what the fall of Lucifer or anything else you mentioned has to do with tattoos.
Joyce will always have a special place in my heart because she’s been there for me going through difficult times.God bless her ministry.

Tattoos aren’t for everyone, and that’s OK. I like having a reminder that I am enough with me at all times. I’ve had a couple people comment on the tattoo and say thank you, they needed that reminder. I believe God uses many methods to reach us, maybe my inked reminder is one of His tools 🤷🏻♀️
LOVE YOU!

If anything of this world will influence in us, then it will manifest in worldly pleasures such as these, which will finally end in sin(doesnt matter how strong we are spiritually) it just portrays that we are of this world(devil).
Good message Joyce! Glory to God!
almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life.
I’m now a born again Christian, in my 20’s who wants the entire world to know that JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU
HE. LOVES. YOU.
God Bless 🙏 you Tim Martin you made it knowing you need God l don't know what happened to you at such a young age to have these things happen to you l am very sorry to hear that . But, I am happy 😊 for you now. Lisa ☀️
What a great testimony. Indeed Jesus loves you. Glory be to God!
I support her 100%. Get that tattoo go Girl!
It's wrong.
Stop following man, follow God, even if you disagree or don't understand
If God says no, it doesn't matter what anyone says
Joyce isn't going to save you.
What defiles a person is his desires, his inner thoughts, his feelings, his words and his actions.
These are really the last days, the Joyce Meyer I knew is gone😥, oh my God now I believe Jesus is coming back when I see great teachers of the word loving the world this much
So if you believe you should not pick and choose scripture , then you must believe Acts 2:37-39! Correct?
The actual Bible says:
Leviticus 19:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
She has made money off her own Bible. She doesn't read KJV.
Please do not tell me I am only KJV only to be prideful though and then tell me "God bless."
I can agree to disagree.
Come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord.
I guess we should get tattoos because most people don’t have them and this includes atheist.
I can't believe what I'm hearing. LORD have mercy 🙏🙏
Right 🤦🏽♀️🙏🏽🙏🏽
Devil is teaching the church how to live that you can make yourself to hell...

@@StevenRay64 GOD said dont judge one another your in NO position to judge him . we are not perfect
@@the_ivybrown189 We're instructed to judge righteously by the word.

if your tattoos came before you knew JESUS CHRIST, thats covered by the BLOOD, brother. what I can't understand is the new trend today that christians continue to have themselves tattooed and they just justify that by making it religious, using the bible. ( romans 12:1-2)
It doesn't matter what you did before with your body, it's interesting what you do today with it, 1 Tes5, 23
Wow love how you mention this so perfect
@Moris Blackborn Hmm, I haven't thrown any texts at anyone. I have just said what that verse means to me.
Laughter, smiles are universal across the world, across languages. If we can’t appreciate the beauty of what God makes, why are we here?
Amen!! I agree 1000%......alot of people reading the bible out of context
Sara Gonzales you have fall from grace long time ago if you and your Joice Mayer didn't repent hell is waiting for you guys
Thank you but I'm very close with my Heavenly father! You may wanna check yourself tho with a comment like that! God bless!
Aikins Isaiah would love to know who gave you the authority to send people to hell?

Isaiah 44:5 New King James Version (NKJV)
"One will say, ‘I am the Lord’s’;
Another will call himself by the name of Jacob;
Another will write with his hand, ‘The Lord’s,’
And name himself by the name of Israel."
So why did Joyce try to claim it says tattoo on his hand? It says write with his hand.
And why does she claim to quote from Leviticus 20:28 but quotes from 19:28? She cannot even get her scriptures right. Lev 20:28 does not even exist.
Misquoting Scripture makes a person a false teacher.
David King I wouldn’t condemn Joyce if I was you. GOD loves her dearly, and she has brought a lot of people to Christ through Christ. Her works for the kingdom are many. She isn’t a perfect person however, only Jesus.
Well we all make mistakes she's not perfect neither are you or I will probably make a mistake in this reply the same as you and Joyce both did she said Leviticus 20:28 instead of 19:28 the same as you wrote with his hand when it in fact says on his hand
as far as Isaiah 44:16 she is teaching from the Ampc Bible which is the exact same thing it just makes it where people can understand better the Holy Spirit gave someone the knowledge to write the AMPC Bible to help people better understand the Bible
When she said misquoted she's talking about how people interpret what they want it to say instead of what it says
Joyce Meyers is a child of God who has brought many people to Christ which that is what we are all supposed to be doing
I will say one thing about Tats and earrings is; "for who's glory do you wear it, His or yours?"
Gods calling you Joyce! Make it right...
"Why would I do that? Just to make religious demons mad"
"Well your not like me, - thank God!" 💖💖
She didn't say go out and get a million tattoos, she said have the right motive when your going to get the tattoo. If you don't want one don't get one.
She is saying it's ok to be yourself! We have to pursue happiness! Not religion. It doesn't mean go wild, it means don't be afraid to be you
The way Dave looks at her you can tell that's true love right there
Great message. Thank you Joyce. God bless you. But please how can I get the complete and full video of this message. Better still what is the tittle of the full video. You can send me the link to watch the full video
I thank God every day that he brought me to you! Please don't ever change! You make me smile, laugh and cry with joy at the Word! You are absolutely awesome!!! All the best, Joyce, and may God bless and keep you and yours!!
Love this!! This prob showed up on my feed cause I just got a tattoo yesterday and was watching all different videos about tattoos. When I was younger I was very legalistic. Love your preachinf Joyce!!
if you got a tattoo you made a blood sacrifice to demons, what do you think happened to Jesus. he was a blood sacrifice, the demons thought they killed him for good, you are deceived!

God bless you for pointing out the correct verse. I see that not a lot of people caught that. I pray that some one in the congregration read their bible to bring correction. Joyce Meyer is mockingly teaching this subject to hundreds of people. Shame.
@@elvincox8031 I do not believe she's mocking Joyce. No minister is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. My own pastor has made that mistake. It doesn't mean they're mocking. It means they're human. 😀
@@Dacuteone08 The problem is that it goes on to state not to make any mark whatsoever. So wrong verse and completely incorrect conclusions.
The scripture she speaks of. “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.”
Leviticus 19:28 NKJV
So many judging about people getting tattoos. What about the scripture above this one that says
“You shall not shave around the sides of your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard.”
Leviticus 19:27 NKJV
How many people cut their hair? Beards? Or what about the scripture above that one? “‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.”
Leviticus 19:26 NKJV
Bet there are many who love their steaks rare dripping with blood.
That' s so true!
Some religion requires women to wear head covering
