Are there any living history places like this? We had a Saxon one in the part of England I lived in some years ago. I wish I had seen Scandinavia before I moved to America! I'd be quite happy to give up living in the US and move into the Viking village. Tack Skjalden
I wouldn't call Jim Lyngvild a big part of the Asatrú but yeah he is an asatruar. This is also Jims place he call it his "Gudehov", I think it is called an Asatrú temple in english, but feel free to correct me.
Yeah i follow him on Facebook and you are correct on him being a big part of it I just see him as such considering between your videos on gods and sagas and him talking about being a modern day heathen in a sense seem to have a decent effect in my understanding and todays life as it is for us. Thank you so much for covering the camp this year it looks amazing.
Sounds amazing, I will eventually visit Denmark and other culture filled areas of such. In Washington state, USA they have a viking festival but I was not able to attend last year so maybe this year.

Skjalden Thank you for that information, when I move back home to England maybe I can save to visit this centre.
This looks like a lot of fun. Did you travel to Denmark or do you live there?
It was fun, I live here :)
amazing! i want it all :)
So at the viking style hall you are at here isn't the owner a big part of Asatru? Named Jim?

The house next to it is called Ravnsborg made in an viking inspired design, that is where he lives.

I will be going to some other markets later this year, so people who are not able to attend can see how it is :)

There's a Ravensborg in America too!!! :D not as good as Denmark but still is amazing!
I've not been to America, maybe one day when the wind blows in the right direction ;)
Yes :D same with Denmark I'd love to travel to other countries and go to wonderful viking festivals and learn as much as possible!
very cool
I'm proud of my Danish ancestry! :)
Great video!
Thanks, Rodrigo :)
If you ever get the chance, you should really visit this market, or the Moesgaard Viking moot. Those 2 events are truly delicious.
ahh jeg var der i lørdags og jeg havde Loke med :) Ærgeligt vi ikke lige kunne have mødtes....
ja, men det lidt i sidste øjeblik at vi tog afsted, havde ikke lige regnet med at skulle derned igen iår :)
