Veteran comic artist Rico Rival shares how his interest in cartooning led him to work on some of the popular comic stories and characters we knew today like the “Prisoner of Zenda”, “Escape From the Planet of the Apes”, and “Transformers: The Movie”.
Meanwhile, Ian Velasquez continues the legacy of his granduncle, Tony Velasquez who is regarded as the father of Philippine Comics.

Sana e revive nila si Kenkoy and name it ANG APO NI KENKOY, he would look like Kenkoy but the new generation na with a modern twist. I miss the Larry Alkala comik stip sa newspaper. Dati I have to save money for the comic books. But then during my time Archie ang na uso pero sa local ang mga gawa ni Larry Alkala masaya. God bless sa lahat ng comic artists ng Pilipinas
