honestly, i encourage Shangela for reaching out for help. sometimes you need the help you get and fabrics can be difficult to work with. of course queens want those to make their own dresses but there's nothing wrong with a little guidance
i think the bigger issue wasn’t that she couldn’t sew but that this was her second chance and still didn’t improve at all between season 2 & 3, let alone it wasn’t just outfits she often asked for help with but wigs and makeup. For a show that was about the best of the best getting to a point where basic outfit creation was a struggle I understand why that could be off putting after awhile no matter how great a personality is. Reach out for help with small tasks I get, needed consistent help and supervision like on season 3 at times felt questionable.

i think the bigger issue wasn’t that she couldn’t sew but that this was her second chance and still didn’t improve at all between season 2 & 3, let alone it wasn’t just outfits she often asked for help with but wigs and makeup. For a show that was about the best of the best getting to a point where basic outfit creation was a struggle I understand why that could be off putting after awhile no matter how great a personality is.
Reach out for help with small tasks I get, needed consistent help and supervision like on season 3 at times felt questionable.
