I just hope that nintendo will add a feature in the future that allows you to move resident services around. If Tom can move a 3/4 full museum made out of stone onto a 2 layer tall cliff, he can move his workplace.

Native fruit also affects the dialogue of some characters. Wilbur will refer to your island as (fruit)town and villagers will refer to your fruit in scripted conversations.
Also, I think if you don’t bring someone from a mystery island for your first three villagers, you get a default villager who needs your native fruit’s furniture crafted? Like the peach chair or Apple chair, etc.
You're gonna get burnt out doing that so much so pace yourself but with new updates coming now for the next few months and next year for the holidays and stuff they might become permanent so um I have no advice on that maybe go to sleep and dream about acnh whilst on your switch I did that once with my DS woke up and I was literally playing on it although I wasn't holding my DS I was dreaming about it but my hands were pressing the buttons and stuff

(Like how the 2 redeemable recipes for fences are randomized every day, the colors for each piece of furniture would be randomized.) The flower thing is a bit confusing. There are hybrids that may grow naturally on your island and they will be your native species. That's what the whole thing meant. Anyone can grow them but supposedly say i have roses I might find a natural pink.

Hey I like the blue! I didn't know there were other colors when I started, and the blue matches all the dodo branding, so I thought it was the only one but I think it's nice, not so loud
I do like how it matches the interior, I was bummed I didn't get green chairs inside :( I like all the colors honestly, just felt like picking on blue hehe
Some things they didn’t add are, 1: there will always be atleast one person in your resident service plaza per week (like label, kk slider, etc) when you upgrade to the building 2: you can’t change the tone of the town tune, you can try and avoid it maybe, but it probably won’t work. (like how 3 o’clock is different from maybe 12 o’clock)

Oh yeah, you can definitely have any flower type existing on your island, but I heard a rumor early on that some of the hybrids can only be grown on an island that has that particular type of native flower. I'm still not sure if that's true or not. Did you grow all the flowers yourself or did you get some of the hybrids from friends? I haven't gotten much into growing my own flowers yet
@@ClubKnox that's definitely not true, any hybrid can be grown so long as you have the correct parent flowers. Native flowers don't affect how hybrids grow, however, sometimes you'll find naturally spawning hybrids of your native flowers that you didn't plant or water.
Even though this comment is old, I HATE Agnes. In my old New Leaf Town she moved right Next to me while I had a project to do! You can have different opinions, but she was a horrible person to me and I have PTSD from it. I respect your opinions, but she was horrible to me.

Flowers are sold at nook in a seasonal pattern. There are always two flower types that are available all year round, example my island, roses and tulips, but the third one is constantly changing. It was windflowers all of may and is now lilies or pansies. Depending on the week I'm in.... Also. You can grow every hybrid on your island. But if you got a 5 star one, gold roses breed without the gold watering can.
I think they reference the Perfect Fruit in some customization stuff. I went to customize the Peach Chair & I could either customize it white (default) or yellow.
The hypothetical question the nooklings gives isn't actually hypothetical, and is actually an important decision. You can be given two of the villagers that are placed in one of the options

Second question... his house, WHY ?? why a kind of crypt ?? I was expecting some castle decorations or something related to churches. In both cases it would have suited the place I chose for his house : top of a mountain :).
That's right, it's Club Knox because Knox is my favorite villager, and it's based off of "Club Tortimer" from New Leaf. Chickens are my favorite animal and he was the first chicken I saw in New Leaf, my first game plus I really like his unique design, based off the ginkaku in Japan, with Sterling as his kind of brother haha. I like that he isn't popular, there are tons of great villagers that I don't see getting much attention. Second, I'm not sure why they gave him that crypt but it definitely would suit someone like Lucky or Ankha better. Someday I hope I can give him a great castle to live in! I'm also planning to put him on a mountain hehe

@@dgeci Many item sets were cut from the base game, like modern, alpine, etc. I wonder if the items Knox usually uses for his house simply aren't in the game yet so they had to redecorate. I haven't heard anything about a bell, but his helmet does looked bell-shaped!
Considering that his counterpart Sterling has a flat out dungeon for his house, my assumption is that knox's house was designed as a church, but someone misunderstood it as a crypt and so designed Sterling's house in a summary fashion.
Living in a crypt really elevates Knox's whole thing. Notgonnalie, I probably would have gotten rid of him if he were just medieval themed, but I love his weird chruch/ crypt so much.
dont forget abuot how airport colour is tied to some of the colours items can have in the nook miles redemptions, such as the pastel teacup ride is tied to the green airport

You can reset, if you're willing to give up progress. I didn't like my name after awhile because I wanted to make a themed island, and just decided to reset so I'd be more satisfied with my island.

After I finish my current island, I plan on deleting it and starting over. I was so mad when I found out I couldn’t move Resident Services. Also, planning out rivers have been difficult since mine are both south. Next time around I’m definitely planning everything out carefully.

It's winter on my island atm cause i live in the southern hemisphere and have my game set to the southern hemisphere and the snow hads circle patterns. so i guess the ground patterns change with the seasons.
False for those who are wondering when Timmy and Tommy ask what you would bring with you on the island depending on your answer depends on your starting furniture and the color scheme of the things you will have from the nook shop along with Timmy and Tommy’s shop apparently each island has its own set of colored furniture and by this I Mean you’re starting furniture one box light and caught have its colors change based off what you answered Timmy and Tommy’s questions with. This will also affect the color scheme of the things in the nook shop at resident services. Also in previous games these questions would affect your characters appearance
if the cooking update really is a thing, I'd find it only logical if more fruit would enter the game also I would love to be able to get all the fruits without friends...
Story time! When I first played Splatoon 1 my Wii U name was Johnny and it plays that "woomy" sound effect I think when someone on your team Booyahs. I thought it sounded like they were saying "Johnny!" like it was reading the actual text of my name, similar to Animalese in Animal Crossing, and I thought "wow that's so cool that it can do that!" But then I saw a video of Splatoon gameplay, heard the woomy and got bummed out that it wasn't actually custom reading my name... Despite all the woomy memes, I'll forever hear "Johnny!" :D so I play that sound effect whenever I introduce myself in a video hehe
I hope they'll let us change Airport colors! I'm still resetting over a good-shaped island with oranges and a yellow airport and it's torturing! One less factor taken into consideration would definitely ease the minds of a lot of people! I think it would also be cool if we were able to change the location of the dock, but I'm not really that concerned about that.
I was really surprised seeing all the customization methods before the game came out that it wasn't possible to change the airport colors. I guess they just wanted to give the player 99% control so you're not a complete dictator of your island

In Wild World, the villager who asks for your birthday also asks for your blood type. I don't know what my blood type is, so I always choose a random one, but I wonder if it affects anything?

You can reset, if you're willing to give up progress. I didn't like my name after awhile because I wanted to make a themed island, and just decided to reset so I'd be more satisfied with my island.
Quick correction, I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned: you actually are able to terraform on the grass peninsula

After I finish my current island, I plan on deleting it and starting over. I was so mad when I found out I couldn’t move Resident Services. Also, planning out rivers have been difficult since mine are both south. Next time around I’m definitely planning everything out carefully.

why is everyone complaining that their resident services are right in front of the airport? I wish my island was like that! you can make a really cool entrance leading to resident services!
It's winter on my island atm cause i live in the southern hemisphere and have my game set to the southern hemisphere and the snow hads circle patterns. so i guess the ground patterns change with the seasons.
False for those who are wondering when Timmy and Tommy ask what you would bring with you on the island depending on your answer depends on your starting furniture and the color scheme of the things you will have from the nook shop along with Timmy and Tommy’s shop apparently each island has its own set of colored furniture and by this I Mean you’re starting furniture one box light and caught have its colors change based off what you answered Timmy and Tommy’s questions with. This will also affect the color scheme of the things in the nook shop at resident services. Also in previous games these questions would affect your characters appearance
Honestly I have the yellow airport which looks horrible but it comes with a black Godzilla and a black snack machine which is pretty chill

Story time! When I first played Splatoon 1 my Wii U name was Johnny and it plays that "woomy" sound effect I think when someone on your team Booyahs. I thought it sounded like they were saying "Johnny!" like it was reading the actual text of my name, similar to Animalese in Animal Crossing, and I thought "wow that's so cool that it can do that!" But then I saw a video of Splatoon gameplay, heard the woomy and got bummed out that it wasn't actually custom reading my name... Despite all the woomy memes, I'll forever hear "Johnny!" :D so I play that sound effect whenever I introduce myself in a video hehe

I hope they'll let us change Airport colors! I'm still resetting over a good-shaped island with oranges and a yellow airport and it's torturing! One less factor taken into consideration would definitely ease the minds of a lot of people! I think it would also be cool if we were able to change the location of the dock, but I'm not really that concerned about that.
I was really surprised seeing all the customization methods before the game came out that it wasn't possible to change the airport colors. I guess they just wanted to give the player 99% control so you're not a complete dictator of your island
