Having been fortunate to live in France for a number of years, I can say that they love live music. From classical repertoire to, especially, jazz and folk music. I particularly like Breton Rock, which is worth a listen. So, I know this traditional march would go down well. But, be advised, the French don't shout "encore" even though it's a French word, if they want more...... Bis! Bis! Bis!
