Hi,GJ,one is soo, blessed to have you.Back then one would have,I forgot the appropriate financial term BUT they didnt teach about the sophisticated and broad diversification that you engage us on😮😮😮Maybe it was lack of skills because you clearly and honestly tell us the road it took you to be here.We were encouraged to safe with companies and told that we will have a better pension fund😢😢😢 in 2017 when I went to cash them after 19 year's😮😮😮 the so called interest was pathetic to say the least. At 60 year's i 2017 and that kind of interest on something you've been deceived to assist was 😔 but at least I fell on my pension which by the way is left with the government and still enjoy its benefits.Sales people need to undergo rigoures training otherwise they are without means to put food on the table.Regular South African subscriber and viewer❤❤❤The term is unitrust
You've given me an idea of where to be putting pension money as a self-employed person. I've been confused and postponing because the pension schemes in Kenya have such low interest rates compared to all the other investment/saving plans. I
I have three! One is an investment that gives me monthly interest. Second is my retirement account. I put 20k there monthly till I retire by 45. Third one is where I keep money awaiting to invest it elsewhere i.e buy a T-bond, land, build etc.I withdraw the money after six months. Opening the fourth one soon that will act as an emergency & sinking fund
Thanks for the insight Joseph. Which are the best 3 mmfs that you would advise one to invest in to create wealth. Long term, middle term and short term. Am employed and would want to chart other grounds away from saccos
Question for you - why not put your pension in a scheme rather than an MMF? This is coming from someone who loves MMFs, currently have 4 in different companies for different goals
NSSF to me is a goner for sure. Maybe pension schemes are good for the employed because of the tax cuts and even better if your employer matches your contribution - literally free money.
Personally i only have one. Etica One year down. Soo far soo good My question is; Is there any other company with an app. That i can be able yo track my account with ease, like Etica???
I'm also with Etica and looking to open another MMF account. There's another Kenyan financial channel I follow called Wealth Tribe and there she talks about Sanlam. Not sure about the app aspect but I know the company from my time in RSA. They are a multinational Corp and have been in business for decades! I bank with KCB so will also look into that one. If you know Rina Hicks, she lists 3 she uses
I also have 3 . 1_ for big money. Sanlam 2.Emergenvy fund_CIC 3. Big interest that is Etica, but I fear because it's new. Let me know if I am on the right track..
Please help me on this.if there are two people person A and person B.both of them want to put 1 millions at an MMF by end of oct.so person A invest 1million in January while person B invests 100K every month for 10months...so after the 10 months..who would have gained more interest in regards to compound interests
Thankyou. u have saved me from my self inflicted brokenness
The best MMF video that i've seen on You Tube

invest In well established companies such as cic and sanlam. u can't rely lose your money if you research good companies
You will never succeed until you are a risk taker..my opinion though
