A simple TH-cam search will show several dozen videos of people distilling their own whiskeys, vodkas, and brandies...well within the confines of the law where they reside. They will also show you where to buy the legally available equipment, and how to test for methanol (which is the FIRST fraction to leave the still). It's extremely hard to kill, or blind yourself VIA distilling your own liquor.......quit spreading fear, and lies!

Temp of the mix does not exceed from 64 degree Celsius Untill it contains methanol.. And once methanol ends in mixture, the temprature ultimately raises upto 80 degree Celsius for the evaporation of ethanol..
