Sounds great bro...!I really love the post-punk era, with great bands as the Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen. The music of those years greatly influenced my own original guitar work...LOL Have a great day...! Bert
thanks! when I heard the drum kit it instantly reminded me of Joy Division. May make another one in that style since people liked it so much :) The basic drum kit is a Kontakt/Battery 3 stock kit.
@@clearlight808 Thanks mate, think I'm going to have to get that plug in now. I mess around for days on end in Ableton trying to get Martin Hannett-like drums but never quite achieve it. Then this comes along that is instant JD! Excited to hear your next track.
@@clearlight808 Just finished it love to know what you think before I upload it as a video its on soundcloud now - I added a link to your youtube channel in the details. Thanks I really enjoyed this soundcloud.com/achtungdan/1984-1
how did you make the drums on this? are they made in a programme like EZ Drummer or did you record them? The track is very cool btw, it would fit right in on Unknown Pleasures :))
Big thanks for this. I desperately need more backing tracks in this genre.
This is great, I wish there were more in this style.

Go for it. Credit me as Ed Clearlight. If you need more let know. I can make tons of this stuff. Lol

Really love this, could I use it for my own project and add some of my own music to it? :)
credit me if you use it
What is the chord progression?
C G Am Am F G Am Am Inext sectionI Am C G F Am C Dm E < there you go!
Is this free to use?
Depends what for.
Ayo drop em tabs bro
would sound better with an undistorted guitar with some reverb
more Joy Divisiony for sure. I really just thought the drums sounded right. It was originally just generic new wave/punk sound
clearlight808 I think it’s cool! Very early JD-like.
It’s a backing track idiot
this is great. open for non profit use?
Not really. Credit me for any use and if it goes commercial we will come up with something. Glad you like it
@@clearlight808 thanks. that's awesome. will do.
It's green day or blink 182, shitty positive pop punk, just meh
