Here's your opportunity to stand IN FAITH in the Victory that Jesus has ALREADY WON for us. Go to your closet and YOU cast the devil out of him. Grab the devil by his nose and chop him in the throat. Kick him in his backside. Say satan I bind you at work through my boss. I give you no place in my life...not in my house, car, job, shopping, family nor anywhere else. Take your filthy hands off my boss in THE NAME ABOVE EVERY name that is named...JESUS That's what JESUS told us and empowered us to do in Mark 16 verse 17. He's not going to do it for us. We must follow His instructions. HE defeated satan and the kingdom of darkness once for all time when HE was resurrected in hell by HOLY SPIRIT. HE went on to kick satan's backside, paraded them (devils and demons) around hell as defeated (Colossians 2:14-15). And that's what I remind satan of everytime he talks to me. I give him a mental picture of JESUS' foot going somewhere on his (satan's) body that it doesn't belong. And, no, the conversations btw me and satan don't usually last that long b/c he hates hearing about his antagonizing defeat and his not so distant future (bottomless pit and the lake of fire)
God IS in control of everything. Perhaps she meant to say that He doesn't cause the evil we see. I don't know. Not easy to teach but we have to be careful how we phrase things. Thank you for the teaching.
What do you do when you have folks visiting and all they do is Brag and make you feel like crap ? I prayer to accept strength from the Lord. But wish I can cover my ears.
Allison Henderson You fill yourself up with more affirmation from the Word of God so that you're so full of the Word that what they're saying actually sounds comical or sad that they even feel the way they do. What you believe can be so much stronger than anything anybody says if you'll meditate in the word of God! And pray for them so your heart won't be hard against them.
