Gengetsu has one of the greatest themes of the PC-98 era, and of all the Touhou Universe. Such a shame that we couldn't get more official informations about her, from official books, or the games themselves... She is so mysterious.

Gengetsu was stated by ZUN to be the most fearsome creature in Gensokyo. So, she's PC-98 Yukari. Even there, I believe EIki is stronger, but whether you do depends on what interpretation of a certain translation you believe. ZUN himself will certainly not answer...

In fact, it almost seemed to reinforce it on her official profile: "If one uses the dream world skillfully, they can go anywhere and become anything at all." It's Doremy's job to make sure people who realize that don't "disturb the order of things." To me, it sounds like Gengetsu and Mugetsu could have realized the potential of the dream world, and Doremy's job isn't to stop them from utilizing it, but to stop them from wreaking havoc with it.
And it is not a hard logical leap even for me that Yukari can use the dream world skillfully, given that she probably spends hibernation in it. Saying hi to the characters in their dreams...Maybe giving some Extra Stage scenarios we don't see because it's not playable. However, whereas Yukari has feet in many ponds, so to speak, the Getsu sisters are beings of the dream world. So basically, they're probably part of an entire SPECIES of Freddy Krueger. Only they can do more than kill and torture, given that they can do anything in the Dream World they live in...
This remix in particular emphasizes the title: Cute devil. It sounds ultimately threatening in the beginning, then sounds child like and cute, then grows more threatening over time. It's a great remix: I like the direction it's going for. Most remixes sound plain serious, but this one changes. In fact, I end up calling the song "innocent devil" instead, since it's child like but also deceiving. Great remix. (Accidentally flagged, finger slipped)

Flandres power might be strong, but even so Gengetsu could just blast Flandre away before she could even do anything. In terms of sheer force, Yuuka and Gengetsu should be considered to be among the strongest.
i think yuuka is more powerfull than gengetsu or flandre because gengetsu is powerfull with her sister mugetsu and yuuka has a special mentality we all know =) (flandre isn't a psy she is juste boring it's not the same)
